3D Printed Animatronic Eyes Part 1 - Smallest Eye Mechanism

Small and realistic animatronic eyes are very important for creating realism and giving personality to characters. In this video, we will look at a new mechanism for building animatronic eyes. This new mechanism ditches the traditional servos coming out the back for electromagnets embedded in the eye itself.

Thought about this electromagnetic eye idea about half a year ago but never start doing anything. Thought that someone would have already done it if it was viable. Great stuff, subscribed.

Very interesting. I was also very surprised that I hadn't seen anyone on RUclips experiment with the concept. I am having lots of trouble with the current design. I'm pretty sure I need to shrink everything to the size of an actual eye and start work again.
