You can tell that baby is Johnny on the spot just by the way she lights up IMMEDIATELY. As a 34 year Chevy technician I find this extremely respectable and arousing.
I love how others enjoy how loud and powerful engines sound and not only performance but also the sound when pulling up to a car meet heck yes that’s what turns my head, thanks again Ken!
Awsome build. Honorable mentioning your employees as well. You must do more than engines the right way to keep skilled guys for 10 even 20 years. I hope your channel keeps growing. Your ohv adjustment video has saved heaps of time and headaches. Always informative. Thank you Ken.
I truly enjoy your videos. Engine sounds as good as it looks. Your humbleness is a sign of your character which I always knew you were. Thank you for your videos.
A friend had a stock 396 1968 off the line he was ALL Over the road , no need for more power , the need is to control it & put it to the road . BTW my 2018 SS Camaro same thing , lots of power , it will light em up even after you are rolling at a good speed . Needs some FAT tires !!
Hi, just watched you post on clearance stack.... very good. you mentioned that you check bearing size in rod with another tool other than dial gauge. What is that? I made a fixture to check brg thickness at crown and sh#t ..the taper is unreal on some bearings. Thanks
Would this 496 Stroker engine be ideal in a 1981 Chev K30 4x4? I'm gonna pull the stock 454 out and send it to a reputable machine shop. I also want a high horsepower heavy breather for that pickup. Muncie SM465/NP205/1-ton axles/4.56:1 ratios.
a 383 because its a smaller engine. 496 even lower RPM is gonna drink gas because of its size but it'll make more torque. a vortec headed 383 with a 650 carb with a small comp 4x4 camshaft would get it done...

Old school right down to the way you treat your employees. Treat them well, they treat you well and stick around forever.

He don't tell nothing about camshaft are assembly parts
Sounds awesome Ken!!!!
Got that crisp absolutely great throttle response. Beautiful motor.
Every engine sounds snappy when there's no trans hooked up
@@Kmecha84 bet that engine is still snappy with the trans hooked up.
You are a good man. Some people don’t realize that it takes a good team to make it all happen 😎👍.
Glad your back posting
I truly enjoy your videos.

You deserve my subscription and like! You are the example most bosses should take notes from. Thank you

sounded like he needs double adjustable shocks and a roll bar to keep it straight
Great video, hold the phone horizontal though! 😆

sounds great but sorry to say you need to turn your phone to landscape so you will get better video.
What kind of cam was used. I have 70 Cheverly and what to stroke is to 496. Just want I good cam I can run pump gas.
Thank you
Thanks ken… your videos are badass👨🏽🔧👍🏽
Like your engine build
Hi Ken. Do you have any experience with big block Chevrolets for Marine applications?
"Trust me this girl is thirsty"
That's ok 👍
Nice!!! What kinda of heads do you have on it there really big?
BOOM! GOTDAMN!
Are there still a lifter problems or is it safe to buy lifters?
Any one know
Put some Caterpillar lifters in mine no problems yet
Good video. Would you consider turning the phone sideways for a full screen?
Deadly!
Why is the water pump not spinning??
Incredible. Please record on landscape mode. Vertical mode makes it hard to see

What would be more fuel efficient under load pulling a trailer. A 383 sbc or a 496bbc built to pull? Grate videos

There's so much to take into consideration in that question the weight of what your towing of course what. Your towing with and many more things
Sounds awesome
thanks
All good but can ya go wide on the camera???
Todays muscle cars are so quiet and smooth. Step on the gas and they go like a bat outa hell.
Oh mamma!!
Amazing
Need exhaust so you can hear the sound of the cam in the engine
Anyone else notice the engine wasn’t running? The pulley on the water pump wasn’t even turning. Wtf
👋😃
That needed a headphone warning lol
'Merica.
We already know you you don't do much !!! We been told by others that use to work for you !!😨
I want to put a 454 stroker like this one in my 1983 Silverado K10. Unfortunately I do not have $15,000 to spend on an engine.
