If I disable touch feeedback, both vibration and sound are gone. It is not possible to overwrite this setting from a keyboard. It reduces the usability so much!

I agree with ken with the part that nothing is a totally different experience i used for 4moths and today it got stolen , it has that premium vibe yk yeah i get it that pixel has the same deal but pixel is something i wouldn't recommend until and unless camera is only what matters to you else overall nothing is hands down the best of all and about the price right so yes it is a little bummer compared to last year right but you gotta understand that this one's got a better chip and better screen an IPX rating so all that does add up and so i'll say it fair and the software oh mama the best i'll say but yes there are few little things about nothing which can be looked after but they aren't as such of problem.
denki of all channels has become the one tech channel i still watch every upload from, interesting! i haven’t watched anything else about the nothing phone yet but that’s cool to hear
While it looks nice, compared to everyone else at the price point, I'm not too sure. I think they are definitely taking the Apple approach at offering a device that has its own specific set of hardware/software features that certain people will want or enjoy, but aside from that it doesn't do anything different well enough over similar, maybe even cheaper devices. Example: I'll never not have a case on my phone... So there goes half the phones main character/functionality right there. For certain people, it's cool, but I really do think you have to fit that specific demographic for this phone to be useful in its features or sensible in cost
I have used the nothing phone 1 for almost 3 months and even I have doubt's about its character and software updates but I was surprised that most of the cases for this phone are either smoked or transparent or has a cut out of the glyps. But the one thing that surprised me the most was the software and how good it was. This phone just hits the mark just right. But the cameras are average tho
That's just not true, nearly all of the cases for this device are built around the LEDs, even my favourite ultra low profile carbon fibre cases. The rest of the case styles are entirely transparent, the accessories are quite literally built around the phone.
I don't think Nothing Phones are all about the lights. They're a great addition to the design and functionality. It is a great phone overall. Especially the software, it is like old oxygen os.
Coming from a Pixel 7 to the Nothing Phone 2. I can personally say this phone is great! You get great software, great performance, amazing battery life and a good enough camera that takes great photos. Not as good as the Pixel but good enough. I think most people will be just fine with it. This is a flagship phone I don't care what RUclipsrs say. RUclipsrs need to stop justifying paying $900-$1200 for a phone. For the price you can't go wrong with this. Great phone that will last you 3-4 years. I highly recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to see that Nothing does the Nothing Phone 3
I have the Nothing phone 1, I really like it. The biggest advantage for me is that it is a small company who listens to his community and not a mega corporation
They both look stunning! It would've been so nice to see a 3rd color, possibly a baby blue? 🤔 @nothing of you read this please make it happen next time 🙏
I daily drive a iPhone 11 128 gb , though i really consider buying this nothing phone 2 But! My one and only concern is that will it be good to use it for 3-4 years or will i just buy an iPhone though it will be more expensive but a good investment at the end .
What interests a potential buyer is not the MSRP, but the price of the different devices at the time of purchase, and, at $600 currently, this Nothing Phone 2 is not a good deal, the OnePlus 11 and the S23 are currently almost at the same price, and these are better smartphones by far.
The Nothing Phone (2) looks like a nice phone. While its hallmark feature, the Glyph Interface, is still a gimmick for me, at least they've doubled down on it and made it a functional gimmick. It's a decent phone for the price if you don't care much for what makes it unique (aesthetic, glyph interface), and I think it's a safe enough recommendation alongisde other $600 phones.
For the price, you are getting good hardware. It can hold itself against Samsung S23 and Google Pixel 7. Phone (2)'s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is slower than Samsung's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but the Phone (2) is definitely faster than Pixel 7's Tensor G2. The Phone (2) has the best LTPO screen and can reach down to 1hz for the best battery efficiency.
Safe recommendation is a great way to put it, and is what they're going for to try to breakthrough the mainstream market as a small player in the space.
I'm definitely tempted but I owned the 1 but sold it after 6 months. Getting the 2 makes it look like I'm getting the same phone (I know it's a spec upgrade). I never really used the Glyphs on the back so I'm probably going to pass.
