I thought that you could watch videos produced by Mariners learning systems, but from what I can tell it’s all reading the manuals. I want an instructor going through it with me not just leaving me on my own with a manual . And from what I can see so far I’m not impressed because I am going around in a circle just trying to take the free trial course. From what I understood I can watch it like a RUclips video I’m not saying that. Reading manuals is not my best way of learning. I’m visual and auditory.
I understand fully where your coming from, not everyone learns the same and sometimes it may take attending the school. The variety of video/ reading worked for me but I could see a face to face interaction having value.
You can retake the exam if you fail, I failed the first time. If you fail multiple times you may have to retake the entire exam, I failed one section and had to only take that one.
Are the lessons all like slide shows or is there videos of a person talking and breaking everything down step by step ? I went to a school in person but because I did horrible I’m school when I was young I panicked and anything I learn I forget instantly because I’m slow at processing. I can study and learn on my own a classroom setting just makes me very anxious and nervous of failure even tho I’d really want to get my license.
The sections are broken down into many lessons. Each lesson is either an in depth video or a slideshow for you to read. The slideshows do have a voice over as well if you’d rather listen to it.
It’s broken into 3 sections, I failed the rules of the road on my first round. Luckily they only make you retest what you fail so I studied up and passed it the second.
They are very similar, if you take every test and pass it with no problem the exam shouldn’t be too hard. The only thing I would recommend is even after the Rules of the Road section go back and make sure you fully study the shapes and symbols for every boat as well as overall navigation.

Where can I find a 360 days? I don't have any experience at all.
