If anything I feel like certain RV songs would sound 10 times better then they already do had they made her sing on a lower register since everyone else's voice is naturally kinda "bright", and some deepness could really help balance things out more. Which is why I'm so obsessed with Perfect Velvet since her and Seulgi sing lower then they usually do, it really gives things that extra "oomph"

Shes producing resonance. Any connected sound produces resonance. Hers just isn't as big as it could be because she doesnt maximize the space in her mouth when shes singing. Shes singing healthily, just not as full as it potentially could be.

@Blubber Yies nodules are growths that grow on your vocals chords (which are shaped bands in ur tissue). when u get nodules, these “growths” get hardened/ have a hard texture. which is exactly what wendy got. it’s probably one of the reasons she doesn’t resonate consistently or it could be an another issue.
For mixed range, yes Taeyeon is better but in head voice Wendy is way better than Taeyeon. For lower, Idk Taeyeon supported range but Wendy's is very good.

For reference, you can watch the Happy Me performance of Wendy, where she hit a resonant C5 at 3:22 mark and compare it with the supported C5 (but lacks the necessary openness for resonance to appear) at 2:29 mark in Amazing You performance last year. from what I know from the kpopvocalanalysisblog he does not really support well, if ever he only has a very shallow type of support. but he sounds pleasant to me even when he isn't supporting so yay!

Lol no, you can't decide whether a singer or vocalist strains or resonate, but some experts can, just go to their vocal analysis.

Avatarkyungsoo - i believe that she can support d5, not all the time you can support your notes, yes we we can say that her supported vocals is just in d5 but sometimes if you didn’t deliver it well you will strain. Im not saying that she always strain all the d5 notes but it just she didn’t deliver it well in that part but in the king of the masked singer, her d5 is supported actually. 🙂

from what I know from the kpopvocalanalysisblog he does not really support well, if ever he only has a very shallow type of support. but he sounds pleasant to me even when he isn't supporting so yay!

Her stability is the same lvl with taeyeon
Her vocal range is larger than Taeyeon. Wendy's vocal range is 4 octave while Taeyeon is 2 octave 5 notes. Wendy's supported range is larger than Taeyeon though. But her resonance is incosistent while Taeyeon is really consistent, that's why Taeyeon sounds really good at singing.
Oops i forgot "stability". Taeyeon is way more stable but she's approaching Taeyeon's lvl
