Tiffany Lost her mom, and Wendy's is far away in Canada, I see all these comments saying that they should of picked a better song, but i feel the best performance should be with a song that makes you fall into it, and these two being so far away from their mothers, I think this was a great choice of song.

Tiffany has proved numerous times how good she is (both as a singer and performer).
She lost her mother at a reeally young age and is always really emotional when she sings that song. I don't get what people get from picking on every little mistake she made. You can argue all you want but she remains a talented, rich, unbothered queen.

wendys vocal techniques are obviously much more superior than Tiffanys. Tiffany does strain a lot and shes pushing her voice a lot and her voice is nasal while wendy could just hit all the notes very easily. wendy is actually even stronger than taeyeon because her lower register and head voice is more developed than taeyeon.

She usually sings well. You can't really blame her for struggling with a song that is for and about mothers, when she lost her own mother. More importantly, she actually sounds hoarse (sick-hoarse, not overused-voice-hoarse), which isn't unprofessional so much as it is unavoidable, I think.
though i do agree Wendy did sang better, but i think Tiffany delivered the best emotional impact, since she can relate to the song the most. set who's better aside, they both did so well, this is really beautiful ♡

Actually Noisey recently published the truth, she said in a interview that her mother committed suicide when she was 12 years old, pretty sure she felt a knot in the throat the whole time.

I dont care how they sound. all I care about is how fany gave it her best to sing this song with the memories of her mom. on this stage her emotions are more than enough to prove herself.

Wend without a doubt has a naturally awesome voice the same with Tiffany but Wendy can really reach high notes without difficulty. Tiffany on the other has good voice however, in this video I noticed that Tiffany's voice is kinda strained maybe because she is sick and it affects her voice. I mean whats with the hate people? Although Tiffany is suffering from whatever ails her while singing she still performs well as if nothings amiss. A true performer and idol. Kudos to Tiffany ❤

I mean it would't be good to their reputation if Tiffany indeed can't sing such high notes, however, that's not the case. Tiffany was given a lot of high key lines to sing because the people behind such decision knows and saw the potential she has. We don't know the reason why, sometimes and not all the time her voice falter, maybe because of too much singing during music festivals or to much practice.. we can't say for sure. 🙇

I was lucky to have VIP tickets to her show in San Francisco in fall 2019 and got to meet her there - she is indeed a sweetheart!

The song is actually written by a female singer, Ivy, who wrote it under her pen name not using her real name, she used the pseudonym "The Lighthouse" instead for the composer name. Ivy wrote the lyrics and Kim Taesong composed the song.
