I've always considered Whitney Houston to be the "gold standard" as far as female vocalists go, and it's pretty gutsy for any females singers to do any of her iconic hit songs, but Wendy truly does this cover justice, as she is not just a great K-Pop vocalist, she is a world class singer up there among the very best on the planet! ❤
I hate how people place Wendy solely in the K-Pop genre as a vocalist when she's so much more talented than a lot of artists today. Most of her songs' lyrics are Korean, but that doesn't mean she's not as good as popular artists outside of the K-Pop industry. If anything, she's far beyond most's level vocally. I don't say this as a boo to any other vocalists, but Wendy deserves so much more appreciation and recognition than she gets, and it's a shame that people would ignore her only because she's a K-Pop idol. I will always stand by the nickname "Wendy Houston." ❤
Wendy is my top favorite female kpop singer! I really don't think that any other female in kpop can sing quite as well as she can!
