Videos like this got me back into nioh 2. I was initially turned off by nioh 2 because of how rough the beginning is, between the fire dude and the snake boss. I’m really glad that I came back with a better attitude about it this time, because this is has been one of my favorite games in recent memory.

I had to watch this 5 times and at half speed the last to appreciate everything. The mgf2ws/mgfws, item cancels set ups, zero-ki control, and overall style, are baffling and just simply masterful.
Highlights for me are shin crusher 2 to moonlight redux, kagewani cancel into radiant moon, tangle strike 2 to severing spin, and tornado to reverse impact to nurikabe cancel. All of that was mind-blowing just in itself. But the fact that you did it all while maintaining perfect zero-ki control against tough enemies adds a layer that's hard to fathom.
Can't not mention the difficulty of those item cancel set ups and item choices either: high kick to atlas bear! spear high evasion attack to mid strong to yatagarasu (my personal favorite!!) and blue moon to shikigami, amazing!! Tough sets ups and cancels that you made look like pole kick to shuriken cancel. Sick, man.
I'm super impressed and super pumped for the next edition!!

One of the main aspect that I have applied in this video is the weapon switching to combo between two weapon. There are a quite of a variety of synergy that we can make from 11 weapons! My only gripe is the weapon switching delay that still exist from certain weapon (which prevent us from doing a fluid transition to a different weapon). I wanted to do these against tough human bosses mostly because I wanted to demonstrate how possible it is to deliver a combo. One struggle that I have faced personally was the elevation (especially when the enemy is on lower floor).
I wanted to use a lot of item cancel since the idea of comboing with items (especially with GS talisman) and melee weapons brought me so much possibility to combo with. But, I was afraid that it would take too much spotlight in the video. I wanted to focus on melee combo at most so I had to choose a few without overwhelming the combo clip with items.
@@LasttoLoad it's a great showcase of what can be done with skills between 2 weapons. You had just the right amount of cancels too. I really enjoyed it!
This is truly a delight for the eyes! The creativity on display here is nuts.
I never realized how effective the Shockwave Talisman could be with the Axe. I might nick that idea for myself. I also love the Scampuss use; it's an incredibly underrated core. As are the Foxes, another core I love. And I'm always glad for the MGF2WS representation.
I'm also stealing the Reverse Impact->Nurikabe Zero-ki Combo.
Those are just a few small things I could comment on. This video is just packed full of stellar ideas. Amazing job yet again!
The worst part is that we have only seen a portion of the whole combo potential in Nioh 2. its why I am going to explore that aspect with this combo series!

The first fight for me was been the hardest against humans, i m actually amazed how you destroyed him.
yea I spar with him a lot to know his move set and AIs properly. it's one way to beat him properly (and knowing your moves to combo him)

GEEZ, HOLY CHRIST, This is something else.
How long you've been practicing those combos? Did you use any Builds specific for them(including the spirit guardian and soulcore)? Did you brain melted after finishing these combos? Because mine did.
For a week, and my build has at least 50% ki dmg which doesnt require much optimization and is more than enough to combo. The rest is understanding the game's mechanics such as zero ki combo, applying confusion while cycling purity and corruption debuff and making use of yokai skills and items (such as guardian spirits, magic and ninjutsu).

probably too late for this , but you don't seem to be using flux 2 throughout this , do you have ultimate heart on?
I mostly have ult skill with path of the Gods on scroll. Using yokai skill and items kind of helps gaining ki along with corruption element.

Fist is the most complex weapon to use compared to any. However, other weapons can become that complicated to use (especially when you use items and yokai skill) to combo with.

The question is, how did your recover your ki so fast to do such combos?
Doing Flux (ll) helps recovering your ki instantly between combo/ki pulse, and having Path of the Gods stat with Ultimate skill regenerate more ki to ki pulse as long as you hit an enemy.

@@anonimoqualquer9422 the scroll requires you to reach to final difficulty (Dream of Nioh). Fluxing would be your best bet to recover your ki.

i played Nioh 1, and hated it. did not like it at all. Now i am seeing this and im like , is this part 2? can it really be this good looking? i hated part1 because of the movement and speed. but this looks way better.
You could say Nioh 2 is a more refined version with more features/mechanics.
