- Here is my second video for the combo exhibition series with a new YS combo meta!

thats usually my habit pushing things further since NG. I just wanted to get the best out of the game I played and share it with others with same interests. Discovering tech and improving it is what I am passionate about.
I have so much to say about this. The number of brilliant ideas on display here are overwhelming.
First off, I love Mizuchi's GS attack. Hands-down my favourite. The zero-ki combo potential it has out of a Night Rain item cancel are insane. I especially love the True and Through -> Iai follow-up you did after. That is actually one of my own personal favourite zero-ki combos.
Your usage of Waira in order to land every single hit possible was also impressive.
The way you timed Changing Ways so perfectly to land as Maeda was midair, as well as to catch him as he fell to the ground, keeping him aloft for that little-bit, was amazing.
The way the One-Eyed Oni's yokai ability flowed after the Spear Flash Attack was just so smooth.
I love how you even made the glitched Kusa grapple feel like a deliberate part of the combo by using Rokurokubi right after.
Chasing an enemy down with the Fox core and Mountain Breaker looks quite cool. I should try that out sometime.
I'm sure Kage will be proud of your cannon use after grappling!
The Phantom clips vs. Maeda were a great display of just how well you can control range and spacing with that yokai shift form.
Ferocious Gale into Suiki looks almost seamless, it's a very fitting combo.
The Tiger Claws flank -> Storm Kunai zero-ki combo -> Shuten punish after the knockback, as well as connecting with Shin-Roku's AOE afterwards and closing in with the slide, showed your impressively precise distancing ability.
All in all, this is a treat for the eyes I will rewatch hungrily over and over again. Fantastic job!

Kusa grapple glitch actually deals huge damage and ki dmg compared to other weapons (for some reason) and I wanted to include Rokurokubi into the mix. So, I thought of bringing those two elements together into that combo segment.

My mind is blown by some of these (especially the instant Yokai Shift tech like whaaaaat). I also love that you used really random Yokai Abilities, when I'm just using the same old Ipon abuse.
Some yokai skill can be valuable to use! But, Ippon is still usually flexible to use mostly against yokai.
Some insane untapped tech here. Props for figuring this out. Well played.

Incredible ! Such a synergy between your weapons and souls core. Just Amazing. What are your stats ? Do u have a spécific build for ranch weapon or a general one ?
I usually stack ki dmg (around 50%) and break stat to handle most human boss fight. The rest involves gameplay experience and tech.

Finally, an ACTUAL combo video. That was incredibly well played man! Very creative uses of yokai shift, item canceling and soul cores. Points taken away for use of noob-ppon in ANY capacity though. :D

I love variety. How much synergy do you do for each combo? Are you using the same graces between each clip or do you change things like to match the guardian spirit your using at the time?
First, I get at least 2 or 3 series of combo to see in short most possible combination. Thne I start making a few stack of those series and mix it together to synergize together.
What you need for build is at least 50% ki dmg and break stat to pull this off. the rest goes to your preference what grace or GS you want to combo with.

@@LasttoLoad it's because you are doing a lot of things very quickly. The dance of Nioh combat is actually quite beautiful to watch at a slower speed

Is it better to just keep combos going or grapple?
Unless you have benefits to grapple such as applying debuff or gaining anima, you do it mostly when you feel like you can not combo any longer (such as running out of ki), to remove curse from the enemy, or to use Yokai Shift grapple. Izuna drop (from katana and fist) however is pretty good grapple to further combo the enemy since it halts ki regeneration for a brief moment.
Combo is the best way to beat down an enemy while applying elemental debuff for confusion, but that debuff can get harder to apply the more you do.
You could you tell me what gear you are using. It seems you are breaking their guard in like 2 hits
a few things to consider:
-break stat allows you to deal higher ki dmg vs guarding enemies so stack break + active skill break for max effectiveness.
-hitting them from behind deals not only higher dmg, but also ki dmg and their guard.
-certain attacks have higher break than other attacks so it is recommended to be familiar with your weapon.

no worries, you dont have to be this optimal. you can pull off 2-3 combo to start with.
Nice video, but most of the combos didn't work like your video. It looks like sometime it works sometime it doesn not work. And I guess you picked some of them that only worked.
There are many factors to consider when doing combo. Sometimes, you have to strike at the right position or elevation to successfully combo with specific moves. Or, you have to deliver proper stagger effect to them and hit them when they are standing and not in different state.
Some of them work 100%, and I have also included some that have strict condition to pull it off. Took me several trial and error, but I get to know how to perform those combo properly.
