Another brilliant video Michael, that is what i love about Ireland no matter what part you are in the people are amazing. Fair play to you battling through with the condition your feet were in Kudos. looking forward to the next part thank you.
Thank you so much, It's just great that the country is the way it is, I met so many great people. Ya the feet were in a bad way but it was all part of the learning process.
Amazing, thank you for commenting. Yeah, they were all so lovely and were so entertaining it was great. Please thank him for stopping and getting in front of the camera.
Hey Michael, I’ve heard there’s a LOT of road walking on the Ireland Way. can I ask you two questions: 1. Is that true? And 2. For the road sections, are the busy roads or quiet country lane-type tracks? Cheers great video!
Sadly that is true there is a lot of road walking, the North West Cork Way is 90% roads. Now work is ongoing to pull more of the trails through fields as we speak. Majority of roads are country lanes but I did feel unsafe on a few which I felt you shouldn't be pulled out on.
I have my ticket booked to Dublin for April 14th, 2021. As long as Aer Lingus will fly me and the restrictions are off then I will set first foot down on the 16th or 17th. I always look forward to a night in my tent with the rain lashing down and a hot cup of tea to get me to sleep. Ba mhaith liom ainmeanacha na bailte i nGaeilge a ghbhail ar an beanach. nil moran gaeilge agam ach beidh me ag cleachta go minic.
Dara, I really hope you get over and explore what these magical places have to offer but I hope you don't get too much rain. My Gaelic isn't very good but you'll have plenty of chance to practice once you're in the Gaeltacht. Are you just touring around hiking or are you going to any particular trails?
Great video :-) Your story is so engaging! Congrats on pushing forward through this beautiful scenery despite to blisters and all. Sláinte
Another top class video pal. keep up the good work all your war wounds were evidance of you conquering Cork.
Cheers buddy, but I learned you can never conquer Cork ;)

Challenge Your Life Thanks Michael, it’s the one thing that puts me off the Ireland Way :( Hope you are well!
@@DerekCullenOutdoors I'd wait a year or two and let them develop it a bit more because they are doing a lot of work on it.
