Fascinating history, fascinating connection Robert. We are all somehow connected by the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Viva Christus Rex!

Thank you for sharing this with us Robert. A bit in awe. To have your ancestry there in front of you. I know our home is in heaven. Yet setting stones where they lived and serving God. A great mantel of loving the Lord passed down.

Britain and her close sister isle Ireland are so rich in history and still so beautiful. Ireland and Wales held the faith together for many years, under the Viking and Saxon invasions. In time, the Saxons and even the Vikings came to know Christ. 🙏🙏🙏 Easter blessings, Robert. ✝️

Thank you for this. I'm not able to say why, but it did my heart good to watch this. God bless you and all the members of the Nugent family, living and deceased.

If I wake up early tomorrow I will think of the dawn mass being said at Fore Abbey, and share a prayer with them. 🙏

Owen O Dowd My great-grandfather came from Moat in Westmeath.
He had a sawmill, he closed it and gave the land to the church on a handshake. That's how things were done in those days.
When he came to Belfast he changed his name to Dowds so he could get a job.
