I drove this combo this week. Started from pitlane because I wanted safety rating, gained 13 positions anyway just by not crashing - unlike everyone I "overtook" ;)
@@justinwitt6364 funniest thing is I went there with a mindset of "just drive carefully, not fight, get 0 incident points", but in a lower split people have a hard time keeping the car on the road I guess.
I did the same this week starting from pit lane. I had 2x off track right before i crossed the finish line and lo and behold there were 2 cars just slowed down to a crawl in the middle of the track just 20ft after the finish line, just as a bunch of us were fighting until the finish line. Ran into them and finished with 6x. Sometimes god has other plans for you.
I’ve started to dabble in the pcup again having mainly been a GT4 driver for a couple years now. You make it look so easy! I think I drive it too aggressively and torch my tires early. Your driving is so smooth and collected. (We won’t talk about the near meetings with Barry R) Nice racing as usual Dave!
At the beginning I hated the Porsche Cup but now I love it. I think it's better than GT3 because it's more difficult to drive and the drivers are usually disciplined.
That’s not what I experienced yesterday. The higher the sof, the crazier people are. Got punted before starting line and then a crazy rejoin… while in lower split I had a blast, a really good blast. This car/track combo is awesome.

Thank you. I just ordered one. I will eventually go triples when money allows. One last question. What viewing distance are you using. Thank you for your assistance and I enjoy your content on the daily. Oh have you tried ring meister this week? Cool combo.
I'm at around 90cm and I have the fov set to 82 on iRacing. Really good compromise between FOV and a sensationnof speed for the viewer. My Ringmeister video out later 😁
Exactly what is wrong with the rain I did it a couple of days ago and it was raining it’s amazing when you can get used to it. Just be gentle with the accelerator and brakes 👍
@@RyanVRRacing I'm decent in rain. My latest uploaded video is a Nordschleife win during a monsoon. I generally gain IR and SR when I do wet racing. Nothing to do with getting used to it - it just takes the racing out of it and is no fun.
@@Kpaxlol just gotta assign the clutch to the clutch pedals, either of them should work. You can set a clutch bite point probably somewhere in the Simagic software which iRacing will then recognize

had a similar experience p16 on the grid to p3 just by keeping it clean

You want to enable Experimental Fuel to get rid of Jim's fuel nonsense. Jim's old fuel algorithm has never worked at the nords.
Thank you so much. Love you Brits.

Smart racing at the end! I’ve had it end in tears two wide more than once 😭😄‼️

Definitely better than GT3
I remember a nords 6hr I did a few years ago half the Porsche grid took each other out in T1 🤣
a crying shame I missed out on running this combo last week. I had other things cooking and couldn't spare the time.. A good race Dave!!!

Awesome race!
Amazing Race Dave... I love this combo, but this combo has destroyed my safety rating. But I can't stop..

Mac from the back at the Nords?? Let’s go!
20:40 nice recovery dave!
Pure luck 🤣
Good race!
You will have to do a Christmas Carnage video, Dave! 😉
gonna miss this combo
Nice race Dave...
Really tough combo but as always a great video
Very wet this week was disappointed. You should do a how to guide for the Olde schlief.
Something ice been thinking about actually. Not a track guide totally, more of a 'things to watch out for' type video 😁
😂😂😂“Making sure Jim has been on the crack pipe again” 😂😂😂
Simon loves putting a foot in the grass.

good call not making a move in the snakes
Which overlay are you using?
Are your screen back further than your DD, Dave? Am I doing it wrong having my triples a lot closer to my rim? 🤔
Yes, it's just sat behind the wheelbase. When I was using 27" triples it was rightvonbtop of my base level with the front
Im convinced the guys in the 46's are bots 😂
20:37 what a safe!
I hit that curb every time and i'm actually so used to saving that exact fail 😂
hello how do you do to change weather windows i can only put then in vertical ?
It's three separate weather elements on my layout, just with different pieces of information 👍

What size tv are you using?
I use a 48". There is a link below in the description to the exact model 👍
