Nice work i have this same bike rack on my bike an I was trying to get a way to carry my tool bag on my as well when I go to work in the morning you have help me out a lot thanks for the video awesome
My man has a bike with a jerry-rigged rack and he's pulling twice as much a$$ as I am. I have a new Camaro and still have to buy my chick a new coach bag to get some. Well done my little friend, well done.
thank you for the fast reply! I just wanted to make sure because I have some spare 1 inch diameter pvc laying in my basement and didn't know if it would be usefull. even if it doesn't work thank you for replying!
I usually use a big tool bag that's like a duffel bag. I guess duffel bags work, too. Just throw the bag on the wood piece and tie it up with a bungee cord and I'm good to go.
I thought about that. But the milk crate is big and bulky. I don't always carry things with me so it will be better without the milk crate when I don't need it. Plus, the milk crate makes the bike wider and it will be hard to squeeze into small places especially I don't have a lot of room to park this bike. When I need to carry something, I just put it in a big tool bag, zip it up, and tie it up with my bungee cords and I'm good to go.

What kind of light is that you got on the back of bike.
Can I put a rear seat on that rack? And can it support 150lbs?
i have the same rack... why didnt i think of this sooner
is it a possibility to use thin pvc pipe instead of aluminum bars, don't got any spare hunks of metal lying around
It's possible. But it won't support a heavy load and it won't last long.
ill search for other options then, but thanks for the reply! I want to create a more stable rack, but I don't have any metal bars to use...

You could sleeve the inside of the pvc with metal pipe or fill it with resin or concrete for extra rigidity.
i have that similar rack...what kind of bags work??

Do you buy on wartmart
did you ever consider mounting a plastic milk crate instead of the wood
I thought about that. But the milk crate is big and bulky. I don't always carry things with me so it will be better without the milk crate when I don't need it.
