To answer the question at 33:42, look closely at Peter's astral form and you'll see his spider sense tingling above his head. That is a throwback to how spider sense is represented in the comics, weird squigly lines above Peter's head when he senses danger. It's really well shown in Into The SpiderVerse as well. That is the reason, since Peter has Spider sense he can instinctively control his body even when his astral form is separated.

I noticed that when I saw the movie for the first time thought I was the only one who noticed it among all my friends
I believe the spider-sense is able to protect peter even whilst unconscious as well. I can't remeber where I learned that, but I remeber hearing that he was once attacked while asleep and the spider-sense allowed him to react and dodge before he woke up. it's also responible for Peter not being invited to poker games with the Avengers as they are convinced that his spider-sense allows him to cheat, despite him clainiming that's not how it works and explaining it.

Yep... Daredevil was the first Marvel Netflix series (and as such, for years wasn't officially recognized as MCU canon, although it was set in the same universe). And Matt Murdock is indeed a lawyer by day.
i don't think canon works like that not every canon marvel comic heroes appears in every comic crossover or their stories need to be link to be considered canon. All that is needed to be considered canon is that they exist in the same universe the mcu. Innocent until proven guilty.

@@roarmbee7045 A lot of people don't get that the characters from the Marvel Netflix shows were by design, meant to be out of Marvel Studios' radar during the Infinity War Saga. The Netflix shows are about the Marvel superheroes living among the common people, while Marvel Studios focused on the Avengers or Marvel heroes that start out among the common people but will eventually be connected to the Avengers. In Spider-Man Homecoming, the distinction between "Avenger Level Threats" and "Street Level Threats" were made clear for a reason. Peter Parker during Homecoming did not understand that the Avengers only fight villains that are a global or universal threat. Kingpin, Vulture, Shocker and Mysterio are "Street Level Threats", threats the Avengers think common law enforcement can handle, which is why the chances of the Avengers meeting Daredevil is so low. But the Netflix shows show there are threats down among the common people that are still too much to handle, and that is where Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Punisher come in, they defend the streets of NYC while the Avengers defend the world.

In case you're wondering why Sandman and Lizard are never seen in their human forms or have as much screen time as the other villains, it's because Thomas Hayden Church and Rhys Ifans couldn't make it to set due to scheduling conflicts. They still provided the voices.

You guys need to watch Daredevil! It is now essential for the full experience, especially now since all three seasons of Daredevil are moving to Disney+ so it's perfect timing!

@@Gnossiene369 Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything. What i'm saying is that in order to get the full experience, it is essential to watch new or older stuff they bring in to canon. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. You won't get the full experience if you only watch the movies for example becasue there are a ton of shows. Noone is forcing you to watch anything, these shows just expand the universe in a way that's just as engaging as the movies. So it's obvious why so many people are hyped for these shows, not just the movies. So yeah man, if you don't want to watch something, the simple solution is to not watching that thing. It's their choice if they want to watch Daredevil not ours.
@ClassicAdden ahh yes the classic “kids show” comment. The first couple seasons are very kiddy and very clearly designed for kids. But as the show progresses, despite still being animation, it matures quite a bit in terms of its content, since they realized other demographics watched it as well

I’ve been waiting for this for so long, to be able to share this with someone else. It’s like watching it for the first time again. I loved seeing your faces when the villains showed up. This movie is such a masterpiece.

The villains also weren’t dead when they came into this universe. They were bought in literally moments before they died. Doc Ock redeeming himself never happened. Also when peters astral form was seperate from his body, and his body was still moving shows how strong his spider sense is. And Norman wasn’t tricking Peter, it was really Norman, but Goblin took over again when he was talking to Doc Ock.
I know a lot of people who were theorizing that Stephen was really Mephisto in disguise, or that he was being manipulated somehow... but I have to respectfully disagree. Dr. Strange has always been a egotistical risk-taker. I think... for him... helping Peter was less about making Peter's life better and more about getting the chance to use this spell in a way that had never been done before. It's a shiney new toy for him to play with.
I believe it’s supreme strange, or the soon to be “evil” doctor strange in multiverse of madness. That’s just my wild guess.

Yes and no, it wasn't *just* to be able to test the limits of his abilities and if he could perform a mircle (Like in his first movie) but also because strange actually did felt bad for him, but also I think what Wong says about the subject is a reference back to the sorceress supreme, You have to forget what you know to get further with your abilities type-of-thing
@@dystopianwarcry9425 That "evil" Strange in the trailer is Sinister Strange, not Strange Supreme. However there is another separate Strange that goes by Supreme Strange, and Defender Strange. There may be some What If stuff happening in it since it's clear Captain Carter will show up in some way since her shield is in the poster.

Doctor Strange may be the "adult" but he's never been averse to taking risks. In his first movie, he frequently broke the rules and did a lot of things that other sorcerers like Wong or Mordo would never do. His character was the same in the original comics.
Even in Infinity War he was a little bit like that too. I’m seeing Multiverse of Madness tonight too and I can already tell his arrogance and “cheating” is gonna come through a lot more…..

If you look around Peters head while out of his body, you can see his spider-senses tingling around his head. That’s how he still moves his actual body.
Here's the thing about Strange: he is absolutely unable to let go of the "drunk with power" vice. His "What If...?" episode shows it best; he still thinks that if he knows the rules he can bend them consequence-free. Seems like his upcoming movie might finally tackle those consequences.
(But also, in the original concept, it wasn't him but America Chavez who messed up the spell. No Way Home was supposed to release afer Strange's Multiverse of Madness).
In the comics Spiderman's reflex's in conjunction with his spider sense allow him to move and react to things even if he is asleep or unconscious
Well... Lizard and Sandman didn't die when they were defeated in their movies.

32:15 Dr. Octavius got pulled into another universe soon as he learned that Peter Parker is Spider Man. When he grabbed his Peter by the throat, he got pulled into the MCU before he in control of his tentacles again
So here's my theory: it wasn't until Doc Ock mentioned the "darker half" that the Goblin decided to take action, because Peter's spider sense went off _at that moment,_ meaning there was no malevolent presence until that point. Dr. Osborn was in control up until that point, so you feeling sorry for him wasn't a trick from the filmmakers. I was the same--I felt really bad for him too, and even after the Goblin took over I kept hoping Peter could subdue and cure him before things got too out of hand. Of course, things got too out of hand anyway...

Green Goblin, and Dr. Octopus fights in No Way Home were probably some of the best fights in any MCU movie. Green Goblin was more brutal than Spiderman 1 (2002). Dr. Octopus during the bridge fight was more evil and savage than Spiderman 2 (2004). And Tom Holland’s Spiderman is for the first time, actually fighting with actual supervillains this time with similar abilities to Spiderman. Everyone of the villains in No Way Home have superhuman strength.

Yesss! I love this movie it’s everything & more than I expected lol. Loved all the guys chemistry together and just seeing Charlize cox in a scene with Tom was great! Hope to see more daredevil in the MCU & Willem Defoe kills it omg that man is terrifying 😂

Daredevil does have a MARVEL show on Netflix and it is set in the MCU, it’s just distant from the movies cause they’re only focusing what goes down in Hell’s Kitchen not what The Avengers are doing, but they do make mentions about the Battle Of New York still to remind that they r

Yes technically, but I've always seen what happened to Doc Oct as a consequence of his pride. Yes he wanted to use his invention for the good of mankind but a lot of the "dark thoughts" sounded like they were a part of him somehow. I also think that Peter said that he may have miscalculated and Doc still chose to go ahead, so I do think his pride contributed to the monster he turned into.
I agree with the watch the netflix shows including Daredevil!!!
Peter was seperated from his body but his spider sense protected the box.
DOMI E AND THOR. you both missed the beginning credits ( you were both talking throughout) and didn't hear the the news reporter and the tampered audio of Spiderman ordering the drone attack on the city. You both need to go listen the the beginning credits again. the film and reasons for the spell will make sense then..

I honestly fail to see how so many people can’t believe Strange’s motives in this movie and as if he’s acting out of character. Like his whole movie was him breaking rules
His spider sense allows him to move his body even when he is in his astral form.

3. I love that you can see when Norman switches to the green goblin after being told there will be no more goblin. Something about his look and voice made me go "uh oh, i think Norman just exited the building"

I saw so much fan art of all the spiders-man but i was pretty surprised they were in the movie and for as long as they were.
I was soo happy at how they managed to involve the Sam Raimi characters in this movie with this multiverse stuff, even though Sam Raimi couldn’t make Spider-Man 4 I felt like this movie kinda makes up for it and also paves the way for his characters to appear in future Marvel movies. With that being said Sam Raimi himself said he feels hopeful about the idea of making Spider-Man 4 eventually, so who knows.
I also love how J.K. Simmons basically reprised his role as J. Jonah Jameson. That was pretty cool.
Doc Oc and Gobby are my favorites and it is always cool to see Mr. Foxx but the way that Flint came in made my heart warm.

I’m shocked that no one pointed out the background of the “crack my back” joke with Tobey M. that you may have missed (at least on Thor’s channel… I didn’t read every comment here). He (Tobey) actually hurt his back doing a stunt I think for one of his movies (the second one I think?) and almost quit being Spider-Man because of it. So the fact that his back was stuff was a meta-joke.

Something not widely known about Spider-Man and all Spider-Folks is they have a mystical part of their powers. The most well known manifestation of that is “Spider-Sense”. When Strange separates Peter’s astral form from his body you can actually see his Spider-Sense much as it’s represented in the comics by some wavy lines around his head. It’s through his mystic connection that Peter is able to puppet his body with his astral form.
This is why you need to put the warnings *before* the spell.

The thing is in the original timeline in their universe they were brought to MCU in certain moments, like Doc Ock, is when he was choking Tobey. Electro was the very close moment before he dies, and Sandman, prob like, few months or few days or heck even few years after Spider Man 3 cuz like, he said "Peter, it's me, Flint Marko, you remember?"
Its like Flint is already friends with Peter. Peter fought Sandman and ended up forgiving him at the end.

Personally, I think Strange can obliterate Peter in a blink of an eye, but I think the reason why Doctor Strange was defeated is that he underestimated Peter and treated him like a lesser powerful person, as a kid. I don't think Peter can defeat Strange in a serious battle, I think Strange made himself lose because of his arrogance. "We're in the Mirror dimension, where I'm in control".
In the original plans for the movie Mysterio was supposed to come back, America Chavez was supposed to be introduced here not in Doctor Strange, there was supposed to be a sewer scene with the Lizard and Doctor Strange. But, Rhys Ifans wasn't able to make it to set due to scheduling as well as Thomas Haden Church. Tobey was supposed to die but, be saved by Tom Hardy's venom symbiote. What could have been....but, still a great 🍿🎥

I feel like Dr. Strange knew the future all along, but has to let things takes it's course for what he thinks is the "best" outcome, and so he just acted along, pretending to make "mistakes" that are out of his character. I think it's something that will be addressed in the multiverse of madness.
