J.K Simmons and Willem Dafoe are always the wins! And the best casting in comic book movie history. And please react to Daredevil show. It’s the best Marvel show ever made and wasn’t even made or hold back by Disney.
Daredevil is well written, well acted, well choreographed and well directed. However, it still suffers from a "Netflix" budget. It IS a MUST see (Luke Cage and Jessica Jones were also good,) but it tends to suffer from the old low budget draw out and power tap down. React to it. You should get great feedback, but understand that "Matt's" "action" reentrance on Disney+ is going to be on another level. Hurry, because he's popping up in "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" as well. "Iron Fist" was a bust, however, I'd like to see the main character, "Danny Rand," writing checks and offering medical tech for the N.Y.C. "homie" heroes.
"but understand that "Matt's" "action" reentrance on Disney+ is going to be on another level." Almost certainly true. But most likely not in a good way, since all the writers and other behind the scenes staff has been completely replaced from the Netflix show. I wouldn't get my hopes up that it will live up to the original.
@@chriswhinery925 There were weak spots. I suspect they'll do what they've done with the original comics. Extract what works and add what's missing. Sustained and "healthy" "Matt" may be the norm as opposed to "let's constantly hamstring him and save some money." The powers that be are NOT going to want to play 2nd fiddle to Netflix and I suspect they'll use the opportunity to prove a point. Next... "The Uncanny X-Men."

"Should Duaffy watch Daredevil?" Yes, absolutely, as Netflix's Daredevil is some of the best Marvel content to ever be put into a show (I say some of, because Punisher S1 exists). Daredevil S1-3 and Defenders should absolutely be on your watch list (the rest of the Defenders shows: Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, are more negotiable...Jessica Jones S1 was damn good, S2 and 3 are good but not must-watch; Luke Cage S1 & 2 are both good but not must-watch; and Iron Fist S1 was decently good but very rushed production-wise, S2 was surprisingly good). And if you wanted to keep going in that segment of the universe, Punisher is also absolutely worth watching. "Should Duaffy watch the Amazing Spiderman movies?" Yes...there are only 2, since fans were salty AF about changing actors and directors, but those movies are absolutely worth watching (especially considering Andrew Garfield can run rings around both Tobey McGuire and Tom Holland from an acting perspective). "Should Duaffy watch the Venom movies?" Surprisingly yes...they aren't amazing, but they do a damn fine job of nailing the characters of Eddie Brock and Venom and their interactions with each other. If nothing else, it'll make you laugh a lot.
Duaffy , in Spiderman 3 with Tobey , a black goopy alien symbiote attached to Peter's motorbike and then got on his suit, it was an alien symbiote creature , the same kind of creature on the bar at the end of this movie.
It's magic. The whole point is that it doesn't _need_ to make sense. People don't remember Peter Parker, but they remember Spider-Man just fine, and it just works out, without any holes, because _magic._ 🤷♂
First He had Strange cast the FORGET PETER PARKER IS SPIDER-MAN SPELL. Then at the end he had Strange cast the FORGET PETER PARKER EVER EXISTED SPELL. So now people don't know who Spider-Man is because they don't know who Peter Parker is cause he doesn't exist. People still know Spider-Man exists but they don't know who he is. He essentially did get what he wanted, for everyone to forget who Spider-Man is... but he had to go one step further than before... by making everyone forget Peter Parker even existed on the planet.
Hey @Duaffy I'm so happy to see you watching Spider-Man No Way Home! It's a very special, powerful, amazing, and emotional Spider-Man movie out of all the Spider-Man movies you've seen. I'm glad you at least got the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy before this, you'll understand the references better when you see the Daredevil series and The Amazing Spider-Man duology with Andrew Garfield later. Be warned, the emotions in the second one will hit you hard and make you think, "Oh! Now I get why he was so emotional in No Way Home!" Everything about this movie was amazing, and I recommend you watch it again with one of your RUclips friends after you've seen the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies, you'll love and appreciate it even more.
Omg please watch both Daredevil and the Amazing Spider-Man movies!! The movies are decent but Daredevil is fantastic and since they just announced it is getting a new season in 2024 it's the perfect time to catch up
"PETER 3!!" Because Andrew was sort of tossed away as Spiderman, everyone wanted Tobey (who it turns out is an absolute asshole in real life BTW, Molly's game confirms) and they never gave Garfield a chance. "No.. no.. You're AMAZING!" Great redemption
When I saw this, I was so shocked that Dr. Strange would offer to use a reality-breaking spell so readily, without even discussing the parameters beforehand, I thought they would reveal that he wasn't really Dr. Strange, he was some shapeshifting villain. That was a seriously reckless decision on Dr. Strange's part.
The way Peter talked about what hapoened to Harry was like hes redemtion didn't happen, like he died trying to kill Peter when truth is they temed up at the end and so he got redemtion, they redconed what happened to Harry
The Netflix daredevil show is hands down the best marvel content there is. him having that cameo in this movie is one of my three favorite moments in this movie
I comment this question question on every reaction to this movie and and I haven't found any helpful people out there. I could look it up myself, But I like direct opinions from people. It took me a while to figure out what was up with Peter's body moving that cube around while peter was in his astral form. And I'm still not sure that I'm correct. Was that just showcasing how incredibly Instinctual and quick his reflexes are? Like it isn't even so much Controlled by his brain as it is just an automatic response to danger? So even when his mind isn't even connected to his body whatsoever, his body will still it will still do its job?
His body reacts automatically to his spider-sense. As fast as he is, he wouldn't be able to dodge bullets if he had to intellectually pay attention to his tingle.
the whole thing with Ned not turning into a villain joke, that's a lil deep cut from the comics. cuz in the comics Ned is the Hob Goblin which is a spiderman Villian. and before watching this movie, you should have watched all the spiderman films and the venom films.
The fact taht you didnt react to the scene where Daredevil makes an appearance was disappointing. You need to make that one of the next things you watch. Daredevil is such a good and interesting character, and the show was great!
You are going to have to watch daredevil because he is getting a new Disney plus show and daredevil is a lawyer that's why he was defending spiderman, also ned in the comics is hobgoblin a spiderman villain.
Venom is a good movie to watch. It happens in a separate reality, where The Avengers, Spider Man, all of the MCU pretty much does not exist. It is quite similar to our MCU reality, just no superheroes as of yet. Eddie Brock, the guy at the bar in the end, is the main character in Venom, worked at the Daily Bugle in NY, before moving to San Francisco. In the third Tobey Maguire Spider Man movie, you get to meet Tobey's Venom. The Amazing Spider Man reality does not have a Venom on Earth, just like Tom Holland's MCU. The little wiggly bit on the bar is a piece of Venom. Venom's race reproduces by leaving little bits of themselves that then try to seek out new hosts. Venom is an alien symbiote that bonds to hosts, and it gives the hosts Spider Man like abilities. It is also a multidimensional hivemind, meaning that Venoms in all realities can share their knowledge. It is a characteristic of their race. That is why Venom and Eddie got dragged to Tom Holland's MCU. The Venom in Tobey's reality knew who Spider Man was, shared it with Eddie's Venom in his reality, Eddie and his Venom got transported to Tom's reality because of Strange's spell. Venom is kind of a dark comedy, and well worth watching. I am of the opinion that Tom Hardy is perfect as Venom. The second Venom movie was not as well received as the first, but tried it's best to keep the comedy of the first.
It's funny because whenever my fiends see me, they squeal and come at me with their arms out and fingers wiggling, because I can crack their backs with a hug every time.
Definetly react to Daredevil, cuz its cannon and Daredevil will get another show in 2023 or 2024 i cant remember properly, but one of two. Also Daredevil is the best superhero series ever.

Because they suck & you can still totally get what’s happening without watching them
Before you watch the new Dr. Strange, you MUST watch WandaVision.... people will suggest some others, but WandaVision is the ONLY ONE that is truly necessary.
J.K Simmons and Willem Dafoe are always the wins! And the best casting in comic book movie history. And please react to Daredevil show. It’s the best Marvel show ever made and wasn’t even made or hold back by Disney.
you know it was produced by Marvel Television, which was still Disney, yes?

"but understand that "Matt's" "action" reentrance on Disney+ is going to be on another level."
Almost certainly true.
Norman, Otto and flint are from the same universe, so is the lizard and electro. They all died before or after each other in Tobey and andrews universes . Norman’s son employed Otto .
Oh no! Big mistake not watching all
The Spider-Man movies before this one. Let’s see how the big moments go with someone not having the background.
One of favorite moments, Garfield catching MJ, just isn't the same if you haven't seen the scene from his movie. I think it spawns from an internal heartbreak in which I let down the love of my life and wish l could redeem myself as he gets to. Ha.
I been watching Spider-Man for the past 20 years. Now Tobey Maguire Andrew Garfield & Tom Holland working together for the first time. Stan "The Man" Lee would be so proud of them.
@Joshua Campbell And steve ditko ?
Who?
@@joshuacampbell7493 Are you serious about not knowing Steve Ditko?
I don't know who that is.
Netflix Dare Devil is so worth it, so are Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Punisher. Iron Fist and Defenders are OK.
- I watched The Iron Fist, I actually thought it was pretty good, don't know why it got such bad reviews, I would have enjoyed more but apparently they decided from viewer reactions / reviews or whatever they cancelled any future seasons. Haven't seen any of the other ones though. Only Daredevil I know is the one with Ben Afleck from the main movie, kind of wish they had pulled him in for the MCU instead, I liked that movie as well, lol.
@@Arthaius Iron Fist it one of the top skilled Martial Artist in Marvel. the Iron Fist in the show was barely even a semi skilled pugilist.
@@stevenjohansen3827 - Well, yeah.. it barely had a chance to develop the show had barely got started before they cancelled it, which was a real shame as it was an excellent show and his abilities were top notch. Such a shame they cancelled as it was a really good show.
@@Arthaius The Netflix Dare Devil had Charlie Cox not Ben Afflack(Afflack's DD was awful) All the Netflix show got canceled cause Disney wanted to bring as much as they could home to Disney+(All 6 shows are streaming on Disney+ now). Iron Fist had 2 seasons just like all but DD who had 3. Iron fist had the Iron Fist ability he was supposed to have beaten a Dragon with Martial Arts to get that, yet he struggled fighting wet paper without the Iron Fist. The show was OK as I stated, but over all they messed up with that one.
@@stevenjohansen3827 - Yeah I'm still a die hard fan of the Original Daredevil (Ben Afleck) - I'm sure the other guy is good and all, but he is not the original. Of course, I also would like to see them use Wesley Snipes as the OG Blade seeing as he killed it in that role, anyone else will just be a disappointing pretender. Same goes for Ryan Reynolds playing the Green Lantern for DC, that movies was fantastic, they portrayed the whole Green Lantern Core and everything so well, I watch that movie like 3 - 4 times a year.
DareDevil yes but the others not so much Jessica Jones Season 1 and maybe punisher but the rest are pretty bad in comparison
He essentially did get what he wanted, for everyone to forget who Spider-Man is... but he had to go one step further than before... by making everyone forget Peter Parker even existed on the planet.
lol that's dumb
@CYB3R2K30 so this movie but hey, people still like it :v
@CYB3R2K30 No it isn't

Now I get why he was so emotional in No Way Home!"
Everything about this movie was amazing, and I recommend you watch it again with one of your RUclips friends after you've seen the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies, you'll love and appreciate it even more.
Omg please watch both Daredevil and the Amazing Spider-Man movies!! The movies are decent but Daredevil is fantastic and since they just announced it is getting a new season in 2024 it's the perfect time to catch up
these are the original Spider-Man villains
"PETER 3!!" Because Andrew was sort of tossed away as Spiderman, everyone wanted Tobey (who it turns out is an absolute asshole in real life BTW, Molly's game confirms) and they never gave Garfield a chance.
"No.. no.. You're AMAZING!" Great redemption
Yeah, not true, but believe those rumors buddy.

I really love all the spiderman universe.
You should watch X-men series, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Amazing Spiderman too.
I love your reaction videos . All Marvel and great was The Mandalorian when you know that the childs name is Grogu.
I WANT DUAFFY TO REACT TO DAREDEVIL! THIS IS ME COMMENTING!
"I want Druaffy to respond to Daredevil, comment below." That's what I needed to say, right?
Toby's movie spider powers, I also thought it's common two, web flued gadgets, that was my first movie when I was a kid.
"Everyone who knows and loves you, WE'D have no memory of you."
Wait…did Stephen just say he LOVES Peter? Awww. (Never caught that before.)
36:48 This brings back a lot of memories especially hearing the nostalgia Danny Elfman Raimi Theme 😥🕷
Question is - Starlord and his team, Thor and maybe Cap Marvel still remember Peter? Dr. Strange just make everyone in earth forgetting Peter, right?
Daredevil has always been one of my favorite Marvel characters and the Netflix series did Him justice.
the whole thing with Ned not turning into a villain joke, that's a lil deep cut from the comics. cuz in the comics Ned is the Hob Goblin which is a spiderman Villian. and before watching this movie, you should have watched all the spiderman films and the venom films.
You should definitely watch the whole Defenders series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher)
I was waiting for this one. I'll bet you loved it.
Yes, you should watch the Daredevil series. Especially since they are starting a new series soon which may, or may not, be connected.
1.9 BILLION Dollars at the Box Office World Wide. Well deserved.
Did I see Bill Nunn in this movie? He died in 2016 and he was a great actor.
So she hasn’t even watched WandaVision or any of the other Disney + shows besides Loki?
Daredevil is the best Marvel project, watch it

Definetly react to Daredevil, cuz its cannon and Daredevil will get another show in 2023 or 2024 i cant remember properly, but one of two. Also Daredevil is the best superhero series ever.
Even if you haven't seen the other Spider Man films before Tom Holland you would still love this movie.
I think you might want to watch the Daredevil series, it’s one of my favourite shows. Also both Venom movies might not be the best, but they are worth a watch.
You got to watch Netflix Daredevil. Seasons 1 & 3 were fantastic. But if not, they are coming out with a new MCU Daredevil series in the coming years FYI.

I recommend you The Spiderman Trilogy of Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire.
