Certainly the best spark shots I have ever got!
Crazy watching this now more than 30 years later and seeing how new the Ganz EMU’s looked.
Back then I thought they would be around for ever and now they are gone.
And the last of those 4 wheelers [wagons not the covered] were last used as log wagons from Portland north on the NAL
@20.20 there certainly was a lot of arcing on the wires with those EMU's Andrew.
Depending on the train mail or parcels. This traffic is long gone now.
Nice video. What was the box wagons used to carry on some of the passenger trains seen?
