They didn't even considered renew the trolleybus fleet, as it currently happening on ABD Corridor in São Paulo (also, the BRT ABC will operate with 21-meter IMC articulated trolleybuses from Eletra, and will open in 2025). The municipal system is under threat of closure by the current mayor and Santos will return with the Mafersa trolleybus after construction of a second light rail line is completed

45:10 Peter Witt trolley from Milano? Have ride them there in the 70th, some are still in use. Sadly I have heard rumours that they are soon history :(

Fajny film, długi ale fajny. Na dzień dzisiejszy (2024) tabor tramwajowy Szczecinski różni się tak koło 75% od tego który był w 2009 roku. Na tym filmie tramwaje co są nagranie to dzisiaj już nie ma żadnych klasycznych 105Na, są już tylko takie zmodernizowane 105Ng z 2015 roku co niemal już jeźdzą 9 lat, prawie wszystkie Przegubowe Tatry i Bulwy posiadają malowanie Floating Garden. Są też już tramwaje częściowoniskopodłogowe zwane Bety (pare z nich dwukierunkowe), no i oczywiscie Swingi mimo te już dawno są i zaczeły eksploatacje 2 lata pózniej po tym filmie. Jedyne na dzisiejsze dni co jeździ regularnie tak jak wtedy w tym filmie to Tatry T6A2D w barwach BVG Berlin które powinny już dawno być malowane w Floating Garden ale niestety nie są.

Oh what I'd give to get the "Newcastle Flyer" back. One down in the morning one back in the evening. Minimal stops. < 2 hrs 20 mins. Basically stopped at Newcastle, Broadmeadow, Fassifern, Wyong, Gosford, Hornsby, Strathfield, Central. Its not hard to see why people prefer to drive.

1992? .... 16:22 have fond memories of the Heildon train right back to the early 1970's, not least because it was the first train I went on that actually had a toilet.

At 10:48 buffet carriage AB3528 was put on the train as the tea rooms at Napier were closed on the expected date the Bay Express was to debut but the carriages for the new train weren't released yet.

Nice video. I wish you offered us a ride inside the trolleybuses, especially in the ER100.2: the sound produced by the power electronics and the traction motor is just pure music!

I guess we are fortunate that this line is still open for the Savannahlander services, rather than ripped up like the line to Atherton/Herberton. Looks like there was a decent amount of freight at those times. Last freight I saw on this line from Mareeba was sugar syrup a few years back. Speed restrictions on this line are a problem.

the munich trains are alr, you have you're subways form central station. then you have you're suburban trains form Central Station.

Where's the overhead lines at South Station?
