I mellowed out over the years and listen mostly to country. But my gym workout Playlists all have every song from that Still album. VOD live in their prime was a sight. Formula for Failure is one of my top 5 songs of all times. So raw, so good.
This band is the greatest and will forever have and hold a special place for me personally. I was 15 at the time, V.O.D was touring and had just released FOR THE BLEEDERS and had never been to any sort of concert ever before nor had never heard of them at the time or really cared for hardcore music. I was hanging out with some buddies and they were going to go see them and invited me to come along with them so I said ok what the hell I'll go,not doing anything else anyway. The show was in Atlanta, Georgia at this really really small hole in the wall place that is no longer there called the 513CLUB. That night the bill was CANDIRIA, SCARHEAD, AND VISION OF DISORDER. They all were really great but V.O.D BLEW MY MIND. They came onstage and opened with the song ELEMENT and the whole place went fokn wild, not one person standing still and didn't stop until their set was over. Afterwords since the place was small was able to meet and hangout with all the band members, they tore off small advertisement poster for the show that was a full photo of the FOR THE BLEEDERS album cover and all autographed it, really great and humble guys. Long story short, didn't like hardcore music, never been to a show, they blew my mind, if it weren't for them and this wonderful evening and great show I would have probably never gotten into hardcore music(now it's pretty much all I listen too). Will forever be IMPRINT memory burned into my brain.(see what I did there lmao). VOD is the best shyt ever, wish they would tour again, didn't get to see last reunion tour cuz they didn't come to Atlanta for it damn it.
Tim is an awesome laid back dude. I've seen them a ton of times and Tim always was cool as fuck. For the bleeders was a staple in my teens so was self titled and imprint. Glad to see you've had the same kick ass experiences

I remember being at this show. They were sick and they played with Candiria which was even more insane. It was at 2686 on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown. Probably the last time I've seen them.

I believe James Maynard said “ those bands are like Coca Cola ads it’s just something for the corporations to make money 💰 “ corporate bands aren’t really real music. Korn limp bizkit slipknot coal chamber soulfly 🤮 only deftones I did like and nothingface skinlab and i guess they weren’t pop enough for mtv. I was actually a fan of korn first and second album had some good songs but third album was horrible so commercially forced I heard it and threw it away after BBK and dead bodies every one where were the only good songs on it
@@workingprogress2951 Rip Joey he was one of my favorite drummers, to each it’s own. Slipknot self title, Iowa, , subliminal verses, and, all hope is gone. Were all albums that I grew up with but if you don’t like them it’s your opinion. But don’t forget tool was on mtv too, I do like them specially undertow, aenema but, the singer forgets his band was also corporate since they were also on mtv. But as I said to each it’s own I just know slipknot is a really great band. Whether they were on mtv or not They had and have some great songs
I was at both nights of these shows, and was excited for the DVD to come out. It took nearly two years to be released, and looks like it was filmed in a cave. Definitely doesn’t do VOD justice.
When I saw VOD a couple times they played with some monstrous bands, no one knew who the hell these guys were they never got their recognition or credit they deserve when they came through Cleveland on those tours sorry to say 🤷🤦😞❤️
After the self titled and imprint records when from bliss to devistation came out I was let down now at 38 years old from bliss is equally bad ass VOD is so underrated
The younger me would have been hospitalized by this show lol VOD is criminally underrated.
Most underrated hard core band of all time!!
man, im in my 40's and still love this shit man. strong island \m/
One of the most original hardcore bands ever..
Saw these guys for first time at Ozzfest 97..can’t believe they never got more recognition. They’re great!!

So underrated, saw them in 97....
Still, VOD and Imprint are still playing here!
Holy fuck these were the sickest days and shows. VOD beyond underrated.
Viola is still one of my fav song til this day. I wished they played it after Element then Imprint.
Too good!!!!!!!
AWESOME video! Best band in the world V.O.D!!
I remember being at this show. They were sick and they played with Candiria which was even more insane. It was at 2686 on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown. Probably the last time I've seen them.
Sound it's amazing af.....man I miss these guys
they are so tight and in the pocket every second, damn near studio-quality performance! Fucking V.O.D!!!!!.
Enorme !!
great vocal singing!!!!!
If those guys had worn masks, they would have sold millions of records.
So underrated band. :'(

If they were fakes and wore masks they would have been on MTV, just like all the other sellouts and I wouldn't have been a fan
They are soooo overlooked. It’s ridiculous.

VISION OF DISORDER...SÓ SONZEIRA MONSTRA !!! VELHA GUARDA DA MÚSICA PESADA UNDERGROUND !!!
they sound better on stage than they do in the studio. all the instruments sound good but I'm mostly impressed with the vocals and the bass.
Old school !!
Sweet merciful crap that was awesome. Thanks for the upload
These guys are THE SHIT.
Bro the fuckin quality! Fuck yea

Goddamn imprint hits so fucking hard
Ffff meee... Nostalgic
does anyone know what ride cymbal the drummer uses? this video gave me some subtle clues but i will continue looking.,,,
Early recordings he used Sabian B8 pro. Not too sure about this show.
Still alive VOD

I wore the fuck out of the for the bleeders cd also with Cave in until your heart bleeds

Sérieusement personne connait ce groupe ?????!!!!!
Si moi mon groupe favori depuis 20 ans

Do you realize how ridiculous you sound calling an underground band "underrated"? 🤦🏻♂️
