This demo tape made its way into my possession my sophomore year of high school, late in 1994. Still hits just as hard 30 years later! Tune In, New Haven.

Love this shit...it's been forever...I I just listened to the whole thing I couldn't turn it off ...brought me right back!! I'm 18 again...thank you!!!
Yeah, punky, thrashy riffs, very talented band. After thrash metal was fading into the sunset by 1994 it was attractive to that audience that was left vs crappy groove metal, etc. Actually thrash metal came out of the punk genre too.
XxSage OneXx Thats awesome bro! I’m 43 now so 17/18 back in 1994/95 when they just started out. Saw them probably 40/50 times in those years all around the Island and at a few house parties. Maybe I was at yours haha
I remember the the first self titled debut. So amazing, so raw. The second album had a completely cleaned up and "studio" sound.. It sucked.. But they started out amazing and raw!!
Couldn’t agree more! Long Island kid , brings me back to my late teenage year skating rocking this shit seeing them play in old Long Island venues. 90’s we’re the shit kid !!
VOD 1993-96 were amazing, I wouldn't say they sucked after that but that rawness, that EDGE wasn't there anymore after that. I grew up w them (Long Island, NY), going to shows & dancing up a storm. Tim Williams was as energetic a frontman in Hardcore as I ever saw, gave 110% EVERY GIG.
Rob Rude I agree totally be with your comment. They had this there Still Ep and there first Album. After that they have certain songs that are decent. V.O.D. I seen them in "1994" In N.Y.C. with Madball and ,25 Ta Life and H2O and Killing Time. Great show.
This is the only good stuff they put out. Brendon was the only down to earth guy in the band. The rest were all stuck up snobs. Played plenty of shows with them over the years.
Long Island Hardcore representing. DTO is a hardcore masterpiece.
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯DUUUUUUDDDEEE...I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS IN SERIOUSLY 20YEARS....THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
nothing has ever gone harder

lOVE old school VOD! This might have been before Mike Fleichmann joined the band, in the early years they played as a 4 piece without a bass player.
One day I have to upload the Live on Riptide recordings. Back in the early 90's I remastered them and stored them on MiniDisc
Please🙏🏽
This demo is the best shit to come out of this era of hardcore. Hands down.
“White Castle fries only come in one size”
1:40, lol, never forget the live "Riptide" demo tape when someone takes the mic and says that
Rusty Kuntz I can’t remember where I heard it. Probably my brother who knew them. Saw them a few times, played in my basement too.

It's a line from a Beastie Boys song from License to Ill

As do I . I was working with Tim at the time and he gave me one . I hope to find it in my pile of old stuff sometime !
TREMENDOUS DEMO. IMPRESSIVE. 😈 GOOD START FOR A BAND.
Thanks! I love this album. It's been SO long since I heard it. Great flashbacks.

This is grand!
These recordings of DTO and no regret must be the same ones that are on Still. They sound exactly the same.

Totally agree there first Album was great and Still and this demo. After that I really didn't care for anything after there self entitled album.

VOD is older than 95.

They were so good back then. Now they cant even make a decent album for some reason or other
Still great live, though.
Rob Rude g
My opinion is that vision is awesome and every album is great but i will admit the 95 album is the jam from start to finish

That 96' ( ? ) show at the PWAC was absolutely amazing. Might have been the biggest Long Island show ever.
long island style
🤭 that's nothing to be proud of.
@@kevingreene2223 why?
this sounds great, kinda reminds me of madball
Joe Herman o
Better than Madball even but I still love Madball
