Really wish this scene was kept in the game. It's scenes like this that would have fleshed out the story more. I knew Prompto was the one to crash the car and made them have to push it to Hammerhead, but I learned this from reading fanfiction, not playing the game. Don't get me wrong, I loved FFXV. I adore the characters and the game play was a lot of fun. But watching scenes like this reminds me why many people, including myself, thought the main quest line felt incomplete.
Well the game was practically made from broken pieces of ideas that Nomura left the new director, the fact that the characters left such an impact on everyone speaks to the excellent work done on characterization. Could you imagine how great this game would have been with a clear goal and plan and not nearly a decade of development hell.
Prompto didn't crash the car. He was driving when it stopped working. At the end of Kingsglaive (post-credits) there is a scene when they are seen coming out of Insomnia and it connects with the begginig of the game...
This constant camera style is so cool, plus the enfasis on the movements of the characters... Why didn't we got more scenes like this on the final game?

Even better when your roomie wakes up at 4:30 and "attempts" to get you up only to fail...miserably. I still get to work at 7am after actually getting out of bed at 6:45. Not an early bird or morning person, per say. But who wouldn't want to wake up to a view like THAT in the vid?
The thing I like about this game the most is how realistic these characters are. Even though there are unrealistic elements in the game, such as magic, the boys are so real, just like people. They’re young guys who face even some little but normal problems like this in the video, they tease each other. They’re just like normal people, not completely fictional people, they’re guys you wish you could know and be friends with in real life

He’s like “Are you starting this sh!t again?! If I wasn’t the ‘nice one’ I’d shoot you.” Then he jumps back into his sweet, innocent character and humbly apologizes.
I can't be the only one who really wished this was still in the game. It could have been used as like a cut scene for when you first go to a camp, missed opportunity guys
I remember watching this preview before the game came out. Having never played FF before, I was so excited. Little did I know the game makers were ruthless killers who ripped my heart out at the end. If I had known the series was notorious for killing off all their characters, I wouldn't have gotten so invested T_T
