As a kid in the 70's, Ft. DeSoto was my favorite place to go with the family on weekends! So many fond memories. A cool one: saw three waterspouts out in the bay all at one time from Ft. Desoto beach! That was surely a once-in-a-lifetime event! My sibs and I played and explored all over the park and old fort. Picnics and cook-outs were fun, too!
