    Dear Fr. I heard that all cloth touching the Body and Blood of Christ should be pure linen, as was the cloth that Our Lord was wrapped in was linen. I love the detail in this video. Thank you.

      Hi! Thanks for the comment. That is correct! However, it has become more of a pious practice rather than a "rule". I hate to say it is cost-related/effort-related, but the whole triple-washing of each item has made other fabrics predominant.

      @@st.maryspnccinparmaoh4656 mind you, I only learnt this recently after watching Monsignor Perez (God rest his soul). I agree, the cost of linen is high. God Bless.

    The corporal was placed upside down…. The whole point of it being folded is to catch particles of the Body of Christ…

    I wonder, is this how Jesus did it at the last supper?

      No. Jesus said do this in remembrance of me. The different parts of the dressing represent Christ's Body and blood. And when the priest breaks the bread and raises the Cup it is the Transfiguration of the bread and wine. That is how it is seen across the church
