Bought my 1.5 DSG from my hometown Kolkata, drove it to Sikkim, to the north zone, Yumthang, Katao, in black ice areas. The car never disappointed despite having only 4x2 setup. It's effortless to climb steep hills and a sheer fun to use the paddle shifters. Then drove it back to Bangalore where i reside. It handles highway like a breeze.
I feel pity when i see ppl buying large SUVs just for the size. They dont know what they're missing out on until they drive these german cars. You can casually accelerate past 150kmph and won't feel a thing.

Be it highways or mountains this car always gives you happiness while driving. Almost zero body roll, remarkable handling and driving dynamics makes it only 2nd to sedans in my opinion. Bought a Taigun 1.5 DSG a year back after test driving almost all the cars in the segment. Yes creta was very tempting especially after going through the feature list but the Taigun pleasantly surprised me. Even after 1yr of owning it every time I drive it puts a smile on my face. The Kushaq and Taigun are seriously underrated yes the price is on the higher side but these cars give you the highest safety (5star GNCAP) in the segment! A great engine mated to a quick shifting gearbox, adequate features and unmatched driving dynamics. Yes these VW 2.0 have their flaws but you really need to own one to truly appreciate how well engineered and how lively and fun the Taigun And Kushaq are.

Nowadays many people don't know the magic of a sedan... Recently from the last few years the public changed their choice and these companies also turned their thinking into business...
Sedan is the best example of Aerodynamics, because of this feature only it moves fast and gives better mileage than any hatchback or suv cars... The boot space is also bigger in the sedan when compared to a suv or hatchback car.. sedan is more stable at cornering. Road stability is higher in a sedan...
Companies have to pay more tax if they manufacture a sedan which is above 4 metres in length, hence they moved to hatchbacks and suv or mini suv and started manufacturing a car below 4 meters in length so that they can escape from tax payment to govt... They offered some new features like sun roof and other eye catchy things and started telling hatchbacks and suv cars are the best cars...

Unpopular opinion : Elevate has best balance between Ride and handling.( Atleast for me😂). Engine through something else. We have to rev the nuts out of the engine to keep pace.

Sedans are the only pure cars what I believe. Rest of the segments are as per ones requirement and sometimes even when not required. But sedans are the perfectly balanced cars suitable for short as well as long drives.

I bought this beautiful car for the very reason that it is smaller than the other cars. In fact kushaq looks smaller then brezza which is a segment lower. To me a small car and bike with a powerful engine and performance is a threat to drive in Indian traffic. I don't like creta and seltos because of their bulky body. Definitely size matters to many but for a family of 4 kushaq/ taigun make more sense.

I like your videos but I would really appreciate if you could do the speeding/handling test on a closed road, else there will be no difference between you and some other auto review channels that speed on open roads.

It will be an interesting video, how and when Indian customer started orbiting towards SUVs instead of seance and hatchbacks. If you can also shed light on the reason behind people, demanding larger and larger vehicles to establish a presence on the road and why is it that they attached their self-esteem with that, it will be quite an interesting study.

Audi Q2, Skoda kushaq and VW Taigun. All have the same gearbox and same 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engines. Audi design language is luxury ,Skoda design language is agressive, VW design language is subtle. They all comes under the same hood VAG (Volkswagen automobile group).

Does the kushaq 1.0 at still have ac issues in the 2024 models? Are there any issues with reliability, EPC issue, creaking noise in 2024 as well? Planning to buy this car but very concerned about the long term reliabiliy of the vehicle. Any leads are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't see Kushaq/Taigun going way ahead from its competition especially in the top model variants; in fact these sibling have the segment best wheelbase offering more room with 2651mm for comfortable backseat experience. However, on multiple forums we have been discussing that the quality of interiors needs major uplift which doesn't feel upto mark in comparison to Hyundai and Honda especially.
