    3:23 According to a video I watched weeks ago, Toa weapons are refered to as tools just due censorship of Lego.

    • @nezaniatoimya
      @nezaniatoimya 2 года назад +9

      This is such a stupid censorship
      They're literal weapons, but they cant be called weapons? It's like calling a handgun steel launcher or something

    • @WelshGiraffa
      @WelshGiraffa Год назад +7

      Tool makes the most sense for a Guardian plus most of the Toa’s
      Weapons aren’t conventional weapons Pohatu has kickers and capture claws Vakama had a disk launcher Nuju had Ice Claws that doubled as snow shoes Toa don’t kill unless it’s absolutely necessary so their weapons reflect that as their also just a conduit to channel their elemental power through

    You do realize there are a lot of rahi who are also sapient? Keetongu’s species and Tahtorak’s species immediately come to mind as examples. Hell, the Kikanalo can even be considered sapient to an extent.

    There is something I will say about the Skakdi: For their Violent behaviour, I see them as being somewhat like the Orcs of Blizzard's Warcraft series.

      My reasons for this is Bionicle Heroes, the way it portrays the Piraka, through their deep, growling voices and monstrous behaviors!

    Was there ever an in-universe explanation as to why other sapient species besides the matoran and makuta exist? Seems like they don't really do much for the mata nui robot, so why would the great beings have built them?

    • @Pilot_of_Solace
      @Pilot_of_Solace  3 года назад +18

      I’m not exactly sure why they were created, but species such as the Vortixx and Skakdi were created by Mata Nui instead of the Great Beings. So, unlike the Matoran, it may be possible that they were created with no specific use other than further populating the Matoran Universe.

    • @heyheyitsjae2475
      @heyheyitsjae2475 3 года назад +4

      They could help with more specific maintenance of the robot. For example, Shadow Stealer's species can teleport to dark places, so they could theoretically make repairs outside of the domes.
      The only ones we really have an in-universe explanation for are the Six Ruling Species and the Makuta. The SRS were made to govern and lead the other sapient species while the Makuta were made to maintain Rahi populations, both jobs Mata Nui presumably had to do that were distracting him from his studies.

    • @ApologeticPyro
      @ApologeticPyro 3 года назад +4

      Well Mata nui’s perpose was to study worlds and eventually come back to bara magna so when time went on Mata Nui decided to intrust the Makuta to make Rahi which were based upon different animals of planets.

    You kinda forgot to mention that they are biomechanical, aka part organic and part mechanical. Though all of them are still artificial.

    • @Pilot_of_Solace
      @Pilot_of_Solace  4 года назад +2

      True. Granted, the images of the different species could be used to imply they’re comprised of both mechanical and organic components (I know it’s kind of a stretch, but hey, it’s better than nothing). There’s probably a lot of stuff like this I overlooked when making this, but at some point I could remake the video to improve on it. I might even split up all the different species into multiple videos so I can go more in depth.

    Aren't the Toa the same species as the Matoran, just at a different point in the life cycle?

    • @Pilot_of_Solace
      @Pilot_of_Solace  2 года назад +6

      The Toa are considered a subspecies of the Matoran, so pretty much, yeah. I would assume that’s also the case for the Turaga, since they exist within the same lifecycle.

    I feel like you forgot two sapient species. The Zyglak and Frostelus, due to the fact that they can speak, and are usually mutations of the main sapient species.

    Is Destroying Krana against toa code? It seems that Tahu murders Kraatas with the Armor given by Mata nui, but respected as Hero of Mata nui still. And Gali seems to break Toa code in process of using Nova blast(destroyed a Gulag Isle and Killed petrified villager)

    Is it just me, or does almost every species in the Matoran Universe besides the Toa, Matoran and Turaga seem evil?

  • @fernandoorozco5968
    @fernandoorozco5968 3 года назад +3

    are the matoran and toa are the same species like life cycles

    • @Pilot_of_Solace
      @Pilot_of_Solace  3 года назад +5

      Kinda, yeah. Matoran have the potential to evolve into Toa, and Toa have the potential to evolve into Turaga. Technically they’re all different species, but at the same time, they’re connected through that evolution. I should also mention that not all Matoran become Toa. Many will stay a Matoran for their whole life. So it’s not a case of as they get older they progress through the cycle.

    Rahi are apparently important enough Makuta were put in charge of making sure they existed in exactly the right numbers... but what is so important about wild creatures in this system?

    • @Makutros
      @Makutros 2 года назад +2

      The Rahi were created to help the other species with certain tasks, like workhorses, but Rahi are created by trial and error, so the Makuta for most of the time do not really know what eventually comes out after the process. And when an aggressive Rahi satisfied a Makuta's twisted sense of humour, chances are probably high that it got to live.

    • @cybernet343
      @cybernet343 Месяц назад

      Was not the reasoning for rahi that they would serve as a natural defense system from potential outside invaders? If anyone arrived from the outer world for whatever purpose, they would likely encounter hostile rahi shortly.

  • @Luka1180
    @Luka1180 4 года назад

    Don't you mean the Makuta are made of gaseous antidermis? And evolved from biomechanical to gaseous over time?

    • @Pilot_of_Solace
      @Pilot_of_Solace  4 года назад +2

      I don’t remember them being killed from having their mask destroyed (asides from the game with to 2001 sets, but I don’t believe that was canon). In canon there do exist Toa who go against the Toa Code and kill. However it goes against their moral code as a Toa.

    • @themostbritishpersonalive868

      @@Pilot_of_Solace I think theres a species created from evil that would only die when there masks were destroyed they weren't toa and couldn't die under any other circumstances I don't remember what they were called though
