Last January I did a lore video on Artakha, so I figured this year I would follow that up with a video for Karzahni! I hope you enjoy the video, and if you have anything you'd like to see me cover next then feel free to leave a comment!
After Makutas original Motivation was retconned, Karzani is the closest we got to the Matoran Universes literal Satan.
What I think is so fascinating about karzani is that at first he is so naive and experienced at the same time he holds so much controll and power over the matoran slowly destroying them over thousands of years
I always thought Karzahni’s mask looked odd, but when I realised he was the one who gave the Toa inika their odd-semi organic masks it all made sense. Karzahni’s mask would have been the same sort of rubbery mask on an Inika head as the Toa if his original look ever had an official release.
I mean compare Karzahni’s mask with Toa Kongu’s
The scary part about Karzahni is that he is unhinged. Teridax is pure evil, but he has a plan and will work with you if he believes it will benefit him. The Barraki are power hungry but they aren't insane.
Karzahni has no redeeming qualities. He is insane and unable to function, toiling on his island unwilling to do anything other than wallow in his own pity and incompetence. His own megalomania forced him to reject the idea of Teridax even existing until it was spelled out for him, and it was made very clear that he was just as powerful as any of the other top dogs in the universe.
I really wish we had seen more of him... he would have made a great recurring/main antagonist, rather than just a background character who gets punked by a matoran and then dies to show how powerful the next antagonist will be.
TL,DR: Karzahni is an underutilized nutjob and I would have loved to see more of him
I imagine an alternate universe where the unfinished serials of Sphereus Magna never came into being. That would've perhaps made Karzahni's fate much different...
@@benscott8042 We can dream...
I'll tell ya, '07 was *THE* year for Titan sets. I mean, the couple of previous years saw great ones like Keetongu, Rookdaka, Sidorak, Axonn, Brutaka, Umbra and Vezon, not to mention mention their combiners, like The Shadowed One and Kardas.
But 2007? Hydraxon, Maxilo & Spinax, Gadunka, Nocturn, Karzahni, Lesovikk... All within the span of a single year?
God, times were good for *BIONICLE* fans. Y'know, exept for the green leg piece issue...
I wonder if Karzahni ever used the Olisi to see how things would have turned out if he had won the mask of creation.
probably everyday
If MeatCanyon was in the Bionicle Universe he would be Karzahni
imagine being bionicles satan and getting killed by a matoran.
I would really like an in-depth lure video about the piraka
I've always wanted the Lego set but it's too expensive 😩 I think the character is really interesting
Can you do an episode on all the elemental powers of toa and motoren and what are there colors and meanings
I really like him !
Agreed, Karzahni is definitely an interesting character!
Most if not all other Bionicle villians are more or less your typicall moustache twirlling villian who wants to rule the world.
Karzahni is scary, because he is evil, purely due to his insanity. Making him unpredictable. I wish someone would make a Bionicle movie showing the Inika’s journey from when they met Karzahni all the way to when they became the Toa Mahri.
I would also like to know the history of the buraki and the Makuta phantoka
nice
Karzahni was always my favorite villain, his twisted backstory stuck with me all through the years.
Also, if you're looking for ideas, have you considered discussing the 'abandoned storyline' possibilities of 2010? Such as Bota Magna, Vezon meeting the Great Beings, and other loose threads.
Also also, I see you pronounce it "Ig-Ny-kah".
