However Americans have a reputation of not knowing common facts like how to measure in metric and celsius, not knowing anything about other countries like where they're located and not knowing much about history (either American or international.) Like I had a female co-worker from the U.S. that had never been taught about the Cuban Missile Crisis. Also many kids in southern states never learn about the dark side of their own history like about lynchings. (Like in high school we Canadians learned all about how we had screwed over the Natives.)

Oh my gosh this is so awesome! In my school, a bunch of people always ask if me and another Latina were related but WE HAVE NO SIMILARITIES BESIDES OUR SKIN COLOR! So we decided to just tell everyone that we’re cousins and we made up this whole backstory and it’s freakin awesome😂😂😂. No one even questioned us.
How are they better? Almost every single sketch now is just one "sane" person being reasonable and 2-4 other "wacky characters" contradicting each other or misunderstanding what's being said, it's just moved to a slightly different setting each time. I get that it's a type of comedy, but it's almost every video now and it's getting pretty boring.

@Mac Loud I am from the USA and I had many Canadian friends who convinced me that my geography was bad because I didn't know much about Canada. Then I made friends with people from Central and South American and other parts of the world and when back to talk to my Canadian friends again. Found out that Canadians only know about Canada and the USA. Mohammad Al-Ali is correct, at least from my experience from everyone that I have talked to only knows about the country they are from and the USA.
@@EulerPath ye it's just an stereotypical observation I was making. I think there is a correlation to how big your country is as to how poor people on average are at geography and also what people are educated on in their schooling system. I think one of the big issues for the United States is that throughout highschool students mainly learning about us history and geography and realistically that doesn't cover much as the US in the grand scheme of things hasn't been around for a long period of time and it's very isolated from conflict. Additionally people don't have the need to learn about other nations as because the United States has such varying geographical landscapes most people in the US can experience everything but a jungle and remain in the same country. Wheras for a European person it's more common to go to other countries. Hope you can see what I am saying but overall there will always be people wherever they are who are bad at geography and geopolitics etc. Like no one can know the history of every country that would be very hard and I also think that the US people learn about their own history because they're taught that the US is the best.
