- This is a follow up video to our Install video of our Seicane 10.25" Android Touch Screen head unit. This replaces your OEM MMI Flip-Up display, and allows you to do a lot more. In this video, I'm going to show you how to set up Wireless Android Auto, as well as show you some settings you need to change when you first boot the system up. As always, leave your comments & questions for me to answer if they aren't in the video.

Another way of re connecting instead of rebooting is taping the icon to show all open apps, close Z link and launch it again. Thanks for the great video man.

Hello. Just a question. When you open 3rd party apps for navigation, does it show the turn by turn info in the main cockpit just like it shows with original navigation program?

I have 2017 a6 c7 I have recently installed a android display uni everything seems to be working fine. it’s just the Audi mmi car information such as the servicing history and tyre pressure features say no signal , the options I have is a6L_400, A6L_800 ,
Can you do a split screen with mors apps at once? Like youtube and google maps?
I have an A3 and the MMI seems to adapt the volume and sound quality to prevent to blow up the OEM speakers, but i have aftermarket speakers, amp and Subwoofer, and have sound quality oscilations, sometimes is awesomes other times is awful, and its only mmis fault, do you think this can solve ?
Hello! Thank you kindly for both videos. I just installed one from Siecane and would have been hosed without the videos as there were no install instructions. Question, have you found a way to splitscreen? So I could have Android Auto on one side and aa app running on the other? I can't find an option to do it if there is one. Thanks!

I have a question about AndoridAuto. When you connected your phone to the device wirelessly androidauto, did you turn off Audio playback on the phone? How will the music be played then? Or does the Audio continue to play through the Bluetooth MMI of the car?
Also another question.
Can I stream music from a device via Bluetooth to a DAC with digital input/output that transmits the digital signal directly to the amplifier/dsp?

i never got an ami port for mine, (i have a different unit for an audi a3) my sound comes through the original mmi bluetooth. calls try and come through carplay and there’s no sound i have to go on my phone and select the factory bluetooth again?
So all what you are showing in this video is while your phone is connected via USB to the Android Display Unit?
How does it behave while using apps on the unit (like Waza) if you connect this unit using phone data tethering? When I am doing that way everything works but, 1st phone mic doesn't work, 2nd phone dialpad and call info window takes over the screen and touchscreen does not work after that until I hang up the phone. Plus the dual app on same screen, I never saw that.
Do you experience same if you ever tried this way?
Screen still doesn't work even if using wireless zlink.

Hi, thanks a lot for this useful video (I couldn’t find any other specifically about the C7). There is one part that I’d love to see though, the replacement of the stock tailgate handle with an Improved 720p. Can you please shoot that part too?
To my Knowledge there isn't an upgraded beta to replace the oem one

The unit I have is 100% touch screen so the main center knob only works with the oem audi mmi system

You might have to mess with the settings to find the right option for mmi display on the android unit
interesting. Over here in Germany the 3G network has been cut off completely (using the frequencies for other stuff). This means that the google earth nav no longer works as it used the 3G network (with a sim card in the MMI plugged in). Will this system somehow receive 4g LTE (or even now 5g) so that traffic data as well as possibly google earth will work? Or does this system simply also take a mobile nav app running on the mobile and will display it (with sound) on this display (and sound via the car's audio system?? Anyone know? My Audi S6 V8T Avant is the 2013 model.
On the Car Mode Setting can you choose MIB2? Because thats my A7 MMI

I've had it replaced under insurance, but haven't done it myself. You will have to calibrate it afterwards

It adjusts how your seat belt acts.

I just can't set the music. The rear speakers are much louder than the front ones.

Hello can somebody help me When i press car info it says no signal. I have tried everything 3G + for audi a1 2013 halfscreen was recommended. But it still shows "No signel"

Great video! What caught my interest was the Car TPMS App at 20:04! My unit didn't come with that pre-installed and I couldn't find anything in the Google Playstore when I searched for it. Do you know if the name might have changed since making this video?
You would have to install actual tire pressure sensors. Our cars don't have them.
(tire pressure is actually monitored by wheel speed sensors on our cars)

TPMS would need to have sensors installed in some way as Audi goes off of ABS wheel speed not actual PSI

You need to email the company & ask them what to do. Maybe there is a way to reset it

Carplay is limited by Apple. Only certain apps work on it. You can Google for a list of them
Question...MMI. do I need to download that on my screen because I have my screen working but I don't see my MMI on it
You should be able to press the mmi button on the android unit & it could switch to your audi mmi

I have an RSnav and mine boots up with an auto logo and some German catchphrase from Audi 🤷🏼♂️never messed with it looks very oem so I like it like that

Looking at getting one of these, but the RSNAV one has 360 cameras whereas none of the aliexpress one do.
This unit works with the oem 360 camera system just like the rsnav. If you don't have that option & want to use the android 360 feature you have to buy & install all the cameras they sell. It would be a pain.
Did you ever figure out how to get the tire pressure monitor working?
You would have to install actual tpms sensors that connect to it. Our cars use wheel speed sensors to monitor our pressure

You would need it connected to the internet for that
You mean wifi access point?
The unit needs to be connected to wifi of some kind to use Google assistant if you aren't connected to Android auto
Which manufacturer do they recommend? RSNAV or Seicane?
Rsnav definitely has a larger support network

Yep! Just make sure you choose the correct one on their website.
So in order to hear audio thru my speakers while I’m using Apple car play, I need to have the aux cable connected into my car and into my phone? That defeats the purpose of wireless CarPlay 😕
No. The wire my needs to be connected to the car. Not your phone.

You have to get the updated into a USB drive, then plug that into one of the USB cables that cone off the unit

Dear, thank you for the precious info in your channel! I plan to buy and android screen like the one in the video for my A6 C7 facelift because I have a faulty mmi (mib2 plus) that randomly freeze and reboots (almost one time a day), so I have to use key combination to reset it immediately when the issue happens (and for a minute I lost phone connection, navigation etc). Can you verify if the android screen stay alive if the oem mmi is restarted by using key combination? If the power of the screen is independent from mmi I can solve my problems at a fraction of the cost on a new mmi. Probably I will lost audio output from aux (that use internal amplifier) for a couple of seconds but is tolerable if the screen remains on. I have planned to try later to amplify the output from the screen bypassing completely the aux input. Thank you in advance

To be very honest, the HW looks quite fine, the screen looks nice, however the sw and grafix looks just like anything else from china, horrible and cheap. I have a similar unit from Isudar. The radio reception is horrible, doesent support premium audio, menus look shit. To be very honest if i could not install agama luncher i would not bare to use it. Original camera also dont work.
So far I like the size of the screen and fact that its fixed but in general this is a no go
The picture quality on my unit is great 🤷🏻♂️
