Totally unrelated, but I just wanted to mention it once: Jammi's "only if you want to, but no pressure" actually made me subscribe a while ago. I used to mainly watch YT while being logged out, so the whole "please subscribe and like" was a bit annoying to me. Then I gradually wanted to be able to comment now and then, and it was _because_ of the adorable "absolutely no pressure!" that I thought: ah well, he can have my sub then 😊
I'm probably not subscribed to nearly as many channels as most people on this platform, but I absolutely agree that low pressure plugs have probably drawn me in way more than obnoxious or aggressive plugs. That, and people who sign off with positive messages, like one of two gaming channels I'm subbed to always signs off with, "Much love and stay foxy". The other one always opens with, "Hey friends, how's it going?"
@@WelcomeApathy Nail on the head! Yup, those are the only two gaming channels I keep up with. I suppose I should update that claim, though, because about a week ago I also subscribed to MandJTV for the sole fact that Team Sky is a thing, and I love birbs. Such a new subscription that I keep forgetting about it, and it's less a gaming channel and more a pokémon lore/tidbits channel.
@@OlyChickenGuy As someone who grew up with the Sims, I really loved their Sims content. So sad Grey doesn't do any of it anymore. But I rewatch what he did quite often. I love those two, they're both quite fun.
@@WelcomeApathy Ah, the Sims. I never had the games, myself, but I had a couple of friends who did as well as the tycoon games. Fun stuff. One of my friends, I helped to alter preset image files as I was pretty big into pixel art back then, so had a good idea of how to toggle colours and such (back in the day that all we had to edit with was MS Paint). For that same friend, I ended up making the entire cast of our role play sessions as a Sims neighborhood, which was a lot of fun! And yes, Grey and Kevin are wonderful fountains of fun and general positivity, which is why I rather like them. I especially appreciate Kevin's interjections of tidbits of self care motivation talk and reminders to his viewers that they are valuable people in the world and not to give up on believing in yourself.
"You are my wife." Can't wait to still hear you use that tone when you're 50. 🥰 P.S. Cute announcement idea for when you two are gonna be parents: Try to get the cats into "Big Brother" shirts. Or get them a kitty cake saying that. But the BabyQ idea is also super cute. ❤
I painted a tiny pumpkin with "Baby [Family Name] Due April 2020" and posted on our anniversary, which was actually on Halloween. 🥰 I thought it was cute to say "we're expecting a little pumpkin for our patch," but that was super seasonally reliant. 😅
I work at a party supply store and we recently got in new paper plates that say “Just here for the sex” (for a gender reveal party). I hate the idea that someone would use them for an actual gender reveal but I think at any other party they’d be HILARIOUS with the right crowd.
An organization near me that provides training and support for young families. They also give clothes, diapers, formula, car seats and more. They do a yearly fundraiser for it and they call it a Baby-Q and I can't help but think the way Jamie does whenever I see. It's a pay per plate to raise money thing and then there are auctions for other things. But every time I think bar-b-qing babies.
When my sister had her third child she announced it by having a picture of my other two nieces sitting on the counter baking something with pink batter. Then there was a sign that said "ingredients for a baby sister" and had not gross ingredients.
Shaaba's hair is looking near identical to mine. I love it. That's the new look. Once your regrowth get's past a certain point it no longer looks like regrowth, but an intentional ombre
Two things: The glove isn't bloody, it's just the color of the plastic they use. But it is specifically made for delivering large animal babies. The phrase "three pump chump" exists to make fun of bad male sexual partners.
Shabba's hair is awesome!! Also I am still surprised that people still call male wiggles as the 'seed'. The seed is in the ovalary of plants and the pollen is the male part so the seed and the egg are actually the same thing. You cant seed and egg....the end
I know this is off topic for the video but I just want to say thank you for everything Jamie, you have helped me so much in helping me to understand and love myself and for who I am and I want to say I have officially started HRT today!!! It was a very hard long process but 100% worth it, I cant wait for people to see me as who I am. As always, have a nice day everyone
I announced my last pregnancy with a D&D theme complete with character sheets for us and her two older sisters and one with the new baby's name. Then wrote "A New Play Joins The Adventure March 2016." New baby is now 7, loves D&D, and loves her announcement.
The best BaByQ is a surprise BaByQ. Organise the event as a regular BBQ party, don’t mention the baby part until people see the sign when they get there. 🎉
I am still waiting on one that's specifically adoption. Like, some of these (like the multiplying baby or anything without sperm or a belly (which was most of them)) could have been for adoption, but I know that there is a world of cute announcements with other puns out there.

When you guys announce a baby one day, you should do a reaction to good baby reveals and then put like one frame at the end that’s an ultrasound picture
the stuffing one reminded me of a post from long ago that was about how James Potter would have named Harry "Proof That I Had xx with Lily Evans" and someone did all the book covers with the titles like Proof That I Had xx with Lily Evans and the Philosopher's Stone and so on
hello 👋 from a random human, I just saw your comment when scrolling and I hope you are doing ok and that today is a better day for you than when you wrote this. You are valid and you matter. Take care of yourself (you deserve it) and I wish you well 🖖❤🩹 ☮
I think that the t-shirt that said "Coming soon..." for the baby meant that the baby was going to learn to walk as it had some little foot prints painted on it. It's like if it was the second part of a film or something and I think it's cute if you look at it that way🥰🥰
The internet is forever. How many of these babies are going to grow up and one day they're just living their lives and someone's like, "hey, I found this really old post from your parents. Guess you were an accident lol."
Jamie gagging over "Edwina" had me laugh snorting for a minute! My cat looked so sad and confused that I would disturb our snuggle like that! 😂 Annnd, I woke his sister up lol
I've never been more delighted by any videoclip that's "just playing in the background" (while you're telling your audience about something) than by your foggy glasses after opening the oven. NOTHING is more relatable, INCLUDING the face you made, because I always make that face even if nobody is around to see it 😍😎 we're cool!
I think the turkey one is meant to be: the baby's the turkey, and the ~~man liquid~~ is the stuffing. Which considering where stuffing normally goes, raises some disturbing implications.
5:25 the cage is used to first feel and find the heifer’s ovaries (female breeding cows) if the heifer is all there, then they will insert a tube with the semem, and inject it. They leave the tube in for a week which also injects hormones that fuel the hiefer’s reproduction drive, then after a week they remove it. After a month they ultrasound the heifers to see if they are pregnant.
This just makes me glad that my pregnancy reveals we’re just baby(ies) due whatever month. Except with my last that my older kids were super excited for. His reveal was each older sibling holding a sign with their number ( birth order) and all holding a sign saying number 4 coming soon. No need for cringe.
Hiya guys, the cattle picture is even worse. The glove is not bloody but pink but it is basically an insemination glove used in cattle breading to put the semen inside the cow. It's bad enough that we do this to animals. Luckily we have you awesome people to safe the day.
‘No this is inspiration for how NOT to’- I cackled at that point because that would have been my reaction too! Also, cool alternative to gender reveals I suggested to my romantic partner in the event that we get married and end up having a baby through adoption (if they’re young enough to rename) or surrogacy: Name reveals! Unless you’re going for a suitable gender-neutral option, basic idea is as follows. An envelope per assigned gender, have a regular baby shower or party when you get approved for adoption to reveal the names at, and keep both envelopes in a box with all the baby trinkets. If baby grows up and realises they’re trans (at any age), you’ll have a pre-chosen name you still put love and care into choosing ready for them if they choose to accept it! I chose my legal first name because my mum was open with me when I was a kid about what she would have named me and I developed this masc persona as a character before realising ‘Wait, maybe this isn’t just Boy Me™️, maybe it’s What I Want To Be™️?’. Anyway, so lovely to see how much you both clearly adore one another. 🥹
I'm trans FtM and my birth middle name was male, so I go by that! I did end up changing my legal first name, but before I could do that it was so nice having a legal name to go by (and even with the legal change I still go by my middle name, the new first name is just for simplicity and stuff like medicine prescriptions)
wait, that's actually really cute? i definitely want my future children to have a gender-neutral name for a second name at least, but a name reveal is SO cute! even if you don't use it as a gender reveal, that is such a cute way to introduce a child's name and make it feel special
@@marveludus Exactly! And the idea would be you reveal both names rather than announcing genitals because it sends a message of whichever name you use you’ll accept and love the child regardless of 1) their assigned gender and 2) if that gender changes when they grow up. :)
The cow one - the woman is in something called a crush and is used to keep cows calm and still in many cases, from when a vet needs to look at them, to getting their hooves looked after to any sort of care.
Every time I see these it makes me more and more thankful I went for something simple. For my first it was a 3 panel picture, with my engagement ring and date of proposal, then my two rings and my husband's wedding band with our wedding date, then the rings and a dummy with my due date. My second was a pic of my first dancing and the caption 'new years resolution: best big brother ever'. (My second was a lockdown baby, and a surprise, but we didn't connect the announcement with covid)
I really like the idea of a BaBy Q as a casual baby shower. I heard the phrase "Dad-chelor Party," and as shown, it was kind of just a sad guys only party celebrating a first-time dad. I was going to steal the phrase as an alternative baby shower option to the traditional pastel and punch, ladies' lunch stuffy baby shower, I do enjoy those, and they are usually more attended by women but are gender inclusive nowadays. But have a separate casual gathering with yard games and picnic foods. None of the watch the parents open up every gift pressure. Boy, girl, or other, they can like laced up tea parties and rambunctious fun.
My first pregnancy I didn't announce because someone spilled the beans before I was ready (baby was a suspected ectopic) so I had to field congratulations while thinking we might have to terminate. It sucked. 2nd pregnancy I just shared a "Hormones be like 'I'm the captain now'' " meme. Next one I'm thinking I'll just surprise the family after baby is born.
Those baby reveals are something else 😅 My boyfriends best friend and his wife are expecting their second child and they announced it to us via our group chat with a really cute poem (which i would put here but it is in another language) and the picture of an ultrasound. I think this was a really nice way of revealing their pregnancy.
I am an epidemiologist and have worked in public health through the entire pandemic as well, and my parents don't even listen to me because they prefer to listen to what their radio says, even though it is literally my job, so not taking precautions is a massive peeve for me as well. For the stuffing one, sometimes sex is referred to as the male "stuffing" someone, and I think the turkey thing just played off that. Not entirely directly, but played off that phrasing. In the cow one, the glove wasn't bloody, that was the color of the glove. It is one of those arm gloves that are used when assisting in the birth of a large animal, such as cows, horses, etc. They have various colors. Their color choice was just not the best. The "corona belly" one may have been referring to the beer, not with any relation to the virus.
The kids for sale is even more disgusting when you take into consideration that during the Great Depression in the U.S. parents would sell their own kids out of desperation (That is in fact true, there seven a whole book about it from the original reporter’s point of view)
5:22 the woman is in what's called a cattle crush, which is used to keep cows still for examinations, vaccinations, that kind of thing, and the man is wearing an examination glove, the kind often used for like pregnancy examinations of cows, just in case anyone was interested. And yeah the picture is definitely comparing the woman to a cow
Good on you for knowing that you want kids instead of feeling like it’s a requirement in a relationship Also I think the Bell thing was based off how doing the deed to animals is a very bad thing to do
So many tragic yet important Events are going on, and all I can say about THIS Right Now? Thanks, once again - came for human kindness. *Wish you two the best!*
I think you should invite Shaaba back for a positive version of this. I genuinely don't know how people go to so much effort without once doubting what they're doing! Finding out they're pregnant; thinking about how to announce the pregnancy; coming up with a questionable idea; buying/making all the props, costumes, etc; setting up the photoshoot; taking the photos; reviewing the photos; choosing the "best" photo; posting it online; getting reactions from family and friends. There's a lot of time and effort that goes into these, so plenty of time to think about it (especially as the worst ones would have required the most planning). Most of the ones that I've seen out in the wild are just a photo of the ultrasound scan or maybe an existing child wearing something that says, "I'm going to be a big brother/sister". The latest trend I've noticed is actually after the baby is born: predefined regular photo updates at different ages using (presumably) expensive packs of props. So many issues around the child's privacy, as well as pressure to post a perfect picture on time at potentially one of the most hectic times of your life. Not to mention the feeling for parents who are unable to do such things, e.g. traumatic birth, neonatal illness (such as premie baby in intensive care), postpartum complications including depression or financial difficulties. It just seems to be adding unnecessary pressure in exchange for financial gain (companies selling products) and baby's privacy.
oh god one of my coworkers said "my mother does not want to be barbequed" trying to explain her mum didn't want to be cremated so the babyque made me snort

@@OlyChickenGuy GreyStillPlays and CallMeKevin?
P.S. Cute announcement idea for when you two are gonna be parents: Try to get the cats into "Big Brother" shirts. Or get them a kitty cake saying that. But the BabyQ idea is also super cute. ❤
No idea what Jamie's jumper stands for but my brain saw "mtf" and thought aww supportive jumper 😂
It's Mount Fuji.
I like the MTF better, though.
@@cassandranoice1563 😅 thank you I would never have guessed that lol

I painted a tiny pumpkin with "Baby [Family Name] Due April 2020" and posted on our anniversary, which was actually on Halloween. 🥰
I thought it was cute to say "we're expecting a little pumpkin for our patch," but that was super seasonally reliant. 😅
my friend texted me to let me know they had covid by saying "i'm pregnant"
🤣
i still get a little smile on my face every time i remember they're married
im so happy for them both they deserve all the happiness in the world
I hope so much to someday find a man who treats me like Jamie treats shaba and who also will lose their mind when we hang out, dumbass hours 24/7
Standing ovation to Jamie for that flawless intro 👏🏽
Then there was a sign that said "ingredients for a baby sister" and had not gross ingredients.
i love how much more aggressive shaaba is at trying to get people to sub to jamie's channel than she is her own haha
Shaaba's hair is looking near identical to mine. I love it. That's the new look. Once your regrowth get's past a certain point it no longer looks like regrowth, but an intentional ombre
Two things:
The glove isn't bloody, it's just the color of the plastic they use. But it is specifically made for delivering large animal babies.
The phrase "three pump chump" exists to make fun of bad male sexual partners.
7:02 I agree with Shaaba: Missed opportunity to mention eggs.
Your colour coordination is on point!
Shabba's hair is awesome!! Also I am still surprised that people still call male wiggles as the 'seed'. The seed is in the ovalary of plants and the pollen is the male part so the seed and the egg are actually the same thing. You cant seed and egg....the end
"Our love is a rainbow, and at the end we found a pot of gold"
The BaByQ one makes me think of the mod for the Sims 2(?) that let you roast a baby on the barbeque.
Lol
I know this is off topic for the video but I just want to say thank you for everything Jamie, you have helped me so much in helping me to understand and love myself and for who I am and I want to say I have officially started HRT today!!! It was a very hard long process but 100% worth it, I cant wait for people to see me as who I am. As always, have a nice day everyone
I announced my last pregnancy with a D&D theme complete with character sheets for us and her two older sisters and one with the new baby's name. Then wrote "A New Play Joins The Adventure March 2016."
New baby is now 7, loves D&D, and loves her announcement.
That’s a cute and creative way to announce a pregnancy and I wish more people did something like this!
The best BaByQ is a surprise BaByQ. Organise the event as a regular BBQ party, don’t mention the baby part until people see the sign when they get there. 🎉
Hearing Jamie say "get jiggy" was like a punch to the gut.
"He gave her the Disney" - Jammidodger 2023
Jamie you are so amazing. As a bi and trans teen you really empower me!😁
Ditto
Gabe you were always my favorite gay cousin
I am still waiting on one that's specifically adoption. Like, some of these (like the multiplying baby or anything without sperm or a belly (which was most of them)) could have been for adoption, but I know that there is a world of cute announcements with other puns out there.
That would be a great video. Adoption announcements!
Please Jamie? Or Shaaba?
I announced that 2 bundles of joy would be joining our family in August, on April 1st. It wasn't a lie. They were kittens.
I am deeply disappointed that this is a video of bad reveals of babies rather than Jamie and Shaaba finally doing an exposé on bad babies
Yes! I really needed a video today! I just need positivity today and your videos comfort me so incredibly much!

When you guys announce a baby one day, you should do a reaction to good baby reveals and then put like one frame at the end that’s an ultrasound picture
I love how excited Jamie gets every time he says "my wife"
the stuffing one reminded me of a post from long ago that was about how James Potter would have named Harry "Proof That I Had xx with Lily Evans" and someone did all the book covers with the titles like Proof That I Had xx with Lily Evans and the Philosopher's Stone and so on
Watching Jamie and Shaaba to hopefully get the depression to go away.
hello 👋 from a random human, I just saw your comment when scrolling and I hope you are doing ok and that today is a better day for you than when you wrote this.
Annnd, I woke his sister up lol
I've never been more delighted by any videoclip that's "just playing in the background" (while you're telling your audience about something) than by your foggy glasses after opening the oven. NOTHING is more relatable, INCLUDING the face you made, because I always make that face even if nobody is around to see it 😍😎 we're cool!
The super gross part about the cattle breeding one, that device they use for holding the cow in place is called a "r*pe rack"
I think the turkey one is meant to be: the baby's the turkey, and the ~~man liquid~~ is the stuffing. Which considering where stuffing normally goes, raises some disturbing implications.
fr
The only thing that made these cringe reveals tolerable was the absolute chaos that is Jamie and Shabba in the same video. XD
Nice to see the Shaaba x Jamie Collab again! Hope you two are well.
Them together in a video is so chaotic even i have to sit down for a rest half way through
I'm glad you and your wife are happy together.
The blessed be the fruit one is literally straight out of handmaid’s tale. Like they say those exact words in the book/show💀
This just makes me glad that my pregnancy reveals we’re just baby(ies) due whatever month. Except with my last that my older kids were super excited for. His reveal was each older sibling holding a sign with their number ( birth order) and all holding a sign saying number 4 coming soon. No need for cringe.
Too freakin cute 😂 I'm prepping dinner and actually laughing
Hiya guys, the cattle picture is even worse. The glove is not bloody but pink but it is basically an insemination glove used in cattle breading to put the semen inside the cow. It's bad enough that we do this to animals. Luckily we have you awesome people to safe the day.
*Breeding. Breading is bread crumbs or batter put on something you fry food in.
I get genuine excitement every time I see a new jammidodger video.
The cow one - the woman is in something called a crush and is used to keep cows calm and still in many cases, from when a vet needs to look at them, to getting their hooves looked after to any sort of care.
This is literally the earliest I have ever been. Hope you and Shaaba are doing well Jamie.
The excitement Jamie shows for Shaaba is so adorable, it's quite heartwarming
OK, ditto her insistence that we subscribe to him
Every time I see these it makes me more and more thankful I went for something simple.
10:25 People are really taking the wrong lessons from ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ for a while now.
The handmaiden tale one 😂😂😂. Thats horrific but hilarious
I live how coupl-y you and Shaba are; it's so uplifting to see such trans-positive love right now.
Unrelated to baby things, I would love to see you do a cooking series 😂 because your hellofresh ad sketch was lovely
Those baby reveals are something else 😅
My boyfriends best friend and his wife are expecting their second child and they announced it to us via our group chat with a really cute poem (which i would put here but it is in another language) and the picture of an ultrasound. I think this was a really nice way of revealing their pregnancy.
The Ad is really so adorable. I didn’t skip it. Also, very funny.
My favorite one was always "Our home is growing by 2 more feet".
the "player 3" on is also a fun one.
Shaaba and Jamie have such a tender and adorable vibe, even when they're reacting to nonsensical and foolish posts. Much love to everyone~
Right? They’re just the cutest couple! 💐💐💐💐
The kids for sale is even more disgusting when you take into consideration that during the Great Depression in the U.S. parents would sell their own kids out of desperation
(That is in fact true, there seven a whole book about it from the original reporter’s point of view)
Good on you for knowing that you want kids instead of feeling like it’s a requirement in a relationship
Also I think the Bell thing was based off how doing the deed to animals is a very bad thing to do
Fun fact "Wiener" in german is a citizen of Vienna (Wien)
5:36 I think it’s also important to remember the name of a cow rack.
A r@p3 rack. It’s called a r@p3 rack.
My husband and I announced on Easter with a board that said
"We're Egg-specting Somebunny"
Cute and cheesy 😂❤
that’s adorable ❤😂

Every time is see a "We're having a ____. I made the ___" I will always try to post the edited version with "I'm filled with c@m, I am the c@m man"
Watching these as an ace adds another layer of morbidly intrigued can’t look away 🤣💀

Don't you know that they're already a family [of two]?

5:15 is especially rancid when you know the colloquialism for what that device she's in is.
I honeslty dont understand it.
