- In Marvel's Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games and Sony Entertainment, developers hinted official teaser of the appearance of Cletus Kasady as Carnage in the next game, Spider-Man 3. Also, the main villain will be Norman Osborn as the Green Goblin, and of course, the theory about the Red Goblin suggests.

If Carnage becomes DLC I think they’ll use his DLC to setup Red Goblin for part 3.
DLC's are not related to the story except Yuri going slightly rogue

I expect two more games in this series. One spin off just like Miles Morales which could focus on maybe Spiderman 2099, there’s already a hint of alternate universes in the game with the spider bots. And then the main sequel which should have carnage, goblin, chameleon etc.
There’s also a great possibility of a DLC.
2099 is lame. Superior Spiderman makes more sense

Tom Hardy’s Venom is not the only anti hero interpretation of Venom.He was and still is an anti hero in the comics.So him being an anti hero in any form of media is not a departure but true to the source material.

Carnage is going to be DLC.. Stop it ! They haven’t shown us anything that leads to Spider-Man 3, but the Green Goblin.
Carnage is part of Yuri’s story, that still need to be finished in the DLC.

Leaks show that carnage will be in the second dlc however it’s totally possible it’ll be just a segment of his entire story and that it’ll play out throughout a few games.

I would NOT want another symbiote story as the main narrative. Especially since this isn't a comic book series or TV show, where we'll get plenty of more. I'm guessing the third installment of this game will be their last for Peter as the antagonist and to have two of your three main stories be symbiote stories would be disappointing for me.
Yes so glad someone said this. I don’t OD’ing on the symbiotes. No good for me either. Let’s stick to venom and carnage please. I don’t even like how the venom movies are just all symbiotic enemies and characters.
Yeah, Spider-Man 2 was very symbiote heavy, and it was cool, but I don't think you need a lot more of them. It would be fine to have Carnage appear in a future game in a similar capacity to this one, a running thing that pays off with a big villain fight, but it shouldn't be the main storyline.

Don't forget, Peter Has The Anti-Venom Symbiont, but I don't know if they will bring the original Anti-Venom, maybe he turns into the fully grown Anti-Venom? And cures the shit out of everyone?
Two things need to happen in 3. #1 we need Green Goblin and Carnage both. #2 we need to see the Venom symbiote return, this time free of Knull's influence. Whether it's with Harry, or we finally see Eddie Brock, that's up to them. But the Anti-Hero version of Venom being fully playable would be great.
Other things: Green Goblin giving way to Hobgoblin
Some version of Shriek.
I also think I'd rather they try something like the Maximum Carnage storyline instead.

Could you imagine spiderman 3 having harry with the anti-venom symbiote and mary Jane with the venom symbiote and then having peter parker's spiderman and miles morales's spiderman and silk and spider-gwen fighting carnage and knull the symbiote god and green goblin and scream and throw in a couple of other symbiotes that being riot and the offspring of carnage a lot of people probably don't know or remember toxin Could you imagine the destruction carnage, knull, green goblin, scream, riot and toxin could do especially with the fact every offspring that each symbiote leaves behind is stronger than their parent which carnage is the offspring of venom and toxin is the offspring of carnage if u have carnage and toxin working side by side it becomes a death sentence for venom especially when you consider the fact carnage is the offspring of venom making venom the grandparent of toxin

Actors tend not to reprise their roles if the gap is too long and they aren’t under contract.

I am conflicted... I absolutely LOVE anti hero Venom but I didn't like the way they did carnage in the movie. T he way he is seemingly going to be presented and exist in the game is what I wanted from the movie. I do not like how truly evil Venom is in the game though. I do hope if Venom is still around in SM3 he becomes somewhat of an anti hero in order to attempt to take down Carnage teaming up with peter once more only this time for the better rather than the worst as what happened in 2. Also unrelated I hope Silk becomes a playable 3rd character in spider-man3 because from what I've read and seen of her... she'd be one badass spider chick and that is saying a lot. I typically don't like to play as female characters in a game as I often view the characters I choose to play as, as extensions of myself rather than a simple videogame character, it helps with my immersion and therapeutic usage of videogames. That being said playing as a female kind of messes with my head making it less enjoyable for me as in reality I am a male but I'd love to experience Silk's perspective and style so I do have some exceptions.

i think spider man is in 2028 because in 2018 was spider man 1 and 2023 was spider man 2 5 years from now and 2023 + 5 = 2028
