How to Bias Fender Deluxe Reverb Tube Amplifier- The Best and Cheapest Way! For Vintage and DRRI

This video will show how to set up a bias terminal that works for both vintage Fender Deluxe Reverb and Reissue DRRI. Follow these steps to properly bias you amp without purchasing the $20 tube socket probes, and with greater accuracy!
1. Remove the chassis from the cabinet.
2. Safely drain the capacitors.
3. De-solder (DON’T CUT) the yellow wire from V8-8 from pin #8 to pin #1.
4. Solder a 1 ohm resistor between pins 8 and 1
5. Connect COM (ground) gator clamp between the resistor and pin 1.
6. Connect the Red clamp between pin 8 and the resistor.
7. Slowly adjust the bias potentiometer.
8. Rock on.
