- I wanted to shed some light onto the talents behind tf2! For this small video, I talk about Sniper's Voice Actor John Patrick Lowrie! I hope you enjoy and let me know if you'd like to see this as a series! The TF2 community is cool and we should talk about the people who have inspired us!

I knew he was married to the woman who does the voice for the Administrator. I always thought it would be a nice inside joke for Sniper to say, "God, I love that woman." under his breath after one of her lines in which she laughs crazily.

I think it's really good that you're trying to show everyone who the voices are behind our favorite mercs. It's best to learn in a fun and informative way rather than how most of us learned about Soldier's VA. :(

This would be such a badass mini series, I absolutely love the TF Voice Actors and all of their work they've done in other games.

I'm a huge Dota and TF2 fan so seeing him Voice Sniper and Earthshaker/Pudge is just really awesome.
Bonus points for his Wife Ellen voicing a couple Dota heroes as well. I would argue that both of them are very important to Valve's history, no doubt about it.
This man is legendary, also speaking from a massive fan of Dota 2 and TF2!

What’s interesting is that he actually would look Australian, yet he isn’t. His deep voice sounds amazing to play bad ass characters like Sniper. I just bought a poster off of streamily for him to sign for the livestream on April 8 where the voice actors of tf2 will sign posters. I’m so excited
i would absolutely love to see more of this meet the vc videos but i do think you should go a bit more in depth into the actors previous roles as well as their other career paths

Absolutely would love seeing more videos like this, particularly since I bet there are quite a few more interesting TF2/Valve-related connections and stories that they're involved, and intriguing to see what else they do outside of Valve titles
I met John and Ellen at Närcon 2022 sommar. I was on stage with him 2 times!!!! 2 TIMES!!! Those where the best moment in my life so far! And met them both on 2 more ocasions aswell. THEY ARE TO WONDERFULL!

His narration in Total Annihilation is nothing short of iconic. The opening dialogue is etched into my mind.

The Sniper easily has my favorite voice acting in the whole game and one of my favorite voices in all of gaming. Love this man

I love seeing the other projects they have worked on. But it really stood out to me that the person voicing the administrator also voiced GLADOSS! Like, i know she is good at her job, but damn. Those are very different performances!

Lowrie isn't EVERY citizen in the Half Life series. A few of them, in Episode 2, are voiced by Adam Baldwin, notably Sheckley, MIRT (the guy who fixes your car), and the guy who tries to teach a lesson about the AR2.

One of my favorite classes.
When he says John voiced one of the worlds favorite characters, he means the favorite character for people who hate heavy mains.
These little edits are so great. The Tf2 voice actors always deserve more recognition! I'd love to see one of these videos for Grant Goodeve, Engineer's VA. The man seems to have a lot of experience with tv and entertainment, but I hardly ever hear about what he's doing now, much less about his connection to Tf2.

Sniper is my favorite character in TF2. I had no idea he played every male in Half-Life 2, another one of my favorite games, which is something I learned from this.

Sniper is favorite class. Scout is fun but sniper is just amazing. Funny voice lines. Design. Load out. Even for the base (and because I play Tf2 on my Xbox. We exist. I can only use base load out) and out of any of the voice actors playing a game with snipers would be fun to me.

The fact that he is the voice behind the narrator in one of my favorite RTS games growing up (Total Annihilation), fucking rocks.
I don't why but I hit with nostalgia from hearing that ending, music, and the video. I didn't even see the person face when they hit me.
