This I can speak from experience, Ellen was a vocal coach for my ex-wife when we lived in the Seattle area about 10 years ago. She is a wonderful person, I had many opportunities to speak and spend time with her. (Also being a huge fan of Portal, I had to resist geeking out when I first met her)
I did not need the image of John with steak super imposed on his face. That will haunt my nightmares.

I can't say how grateful I am to you Shork, for reaching out to the wonderful talent that took part in TF2's creation, and seeing them still love their roles and fans all these years later. The thing i love about this is how much fun these 2 have helping with the videos . We all see it in their faces
It's advice like this that reminds me that voice acting isn't just doing impressions, or even original voices - it's acting.
If I’m not completely drained by the end of a recording sesh, it ain’t a success.
It's so fun seeing John and Ellen go at this with such acted out talent when listening to the other people's impressions of their voices.
You can tell the two of them are having a lot of fun with this. Awesome seeing them get so into character too. Love it! ^^

2:51 now that I think about it, the story of Hoovy tube is more in depth compared to the actual story of TF2 like Medic actually being the class with the worst mental state or how they replaced the non canon Yellow team (or YLLW I think it's spelt) with a communist organisation called the Builders Revolutionary Workers Nation or BRWN team which actually shows the USSR has some relevance in the universe of TF2
It is so genuinely wholesome to see them get excited and happy when doing their voices, and seeing them react. Gosh I am so so glad you do these videos for us :)
