No. McDonald's and TV dinners will. Fat is all butter is and fat is actually good for you. In fact it's where most of your nutrients in your meats come from. Sugar companies paid a ton of people including our government to fudge studies to put the focus on fats rather than sugars and processed garbage to link to obesity and health problems. Just remember, the FDA approved everything that companies like McDonald's try to pass off as "food"
Small upgrade, but you can fry up some bacon and use the bacon fat instead of butter! It might actually be slightly healthier than a whole stick of butter 😂😂😂
No, that much oil wont mix well with the cream and cheese. Butter has a distinct flavor from oil (I'm assuming olive) as well. Just don't eat it every day if you're worried about calories, I'm assuming you're not lactose intolerant since this also contains cream and cheese. If you just don't like the butter you could try going for Carbonara, which uses rendered fat from bacon/pancetta, cheese and an egg for the sauce. It's still "creamy" in a way and very delicious.
@@ironaston9858 maybe. I wouldn't call a regular cheese pizza a "white pizza" even though all I did was add tomato sauce of a white pizza. I wouldn't call this Alfredo sauce even though all he did was add (a lot of) cream to an Alfredo recipe.

I'm going to say something that is probably unpopular with Italians but, I had a tiny pinch of nutmeg to my Alfredo sauce. So good!
Nutmeg is least of your worries here. The whole dish is unpopular among Italians. Alfredo was inspired from AlBurro

What do we do with the reserved pasta water…? Is it to thin out the sauce once you married the cream sauce with the cheese?
it thickens it a bit as far as i know
