... no lies :) Nice run tho! May I ask you a question regarding tune shop? I'm confused if I need to buy each level of the parts (like level 1,2,3..) ? Does it stack or higher level of details just replaces the lower?
@@Tume_K5 not joking, I only getting familiar with the game :D It's just drawn with same pictures of details so thought it works like in nfs underground 1. Thanks!
what i always liked in gran turismo is the concept of the lines (braking/accelerating) you had to follow on track to nail it. Even if it's simple as it sounds, in practice it wasn't even if all we had to do was follow the lines and brake/accelerate accordingly
You can save a lot of time by using a trick I found that I call 'powershifting'. Instead of pressing the shift up button, you quickly blip the reverse button when the car is at or beyond a certain speed threshold which is usually when the needle hits the redline. If done quickly, you can shift the car into the next gear without losing time waiting for the gear to change, thus retaining constant acceleration. This trick is only useful with slow cars that shift slowly. Most effective with license tests that don't have rolling starts (B-1, B-3, B-4, B-5, B-6, B-7, B-8, A-1, A-2, A-3, IB-5, and a few other instances with slow cars here and there). The way it works is that you are creating the same behavior that occurs when you press the e-brake or reverse button while moving forward without pressing the gas. This causes the car to go into what is essentially neutral during normal gameplay. However, when setting up the 'powershift', you hold down the gas and let the speedo reach the threshold that tells the car that it needs to be in the next gear up. Upon pressing reverse, the car goes into reverse gear. When you release the reverse button, the car will go into the most optimal gear relative to the speed the car is currently at. If you press and release the reverse button extremely quickly, the game does not have enough time to actually cause any slowing down of the car from being in reverse and will essentially just throw the car into what it thinks is the most optimal gear which in this case is the next gear up.
@@acidocloridrico9168 He said to press reverse button while shifting up in slow shifting cars to save time, instead of pressing shift up button you need to redline it and then just tap reverse. The game will automatically xhange gear to the most optimal which is the higher than before tapping reverse. You need to do it quickly in order not to slow the car.

Before I knew to drive the GT One in manual, I tried for literally days to pass the last Super license test driving it in auto and I think those few days of trying might have been the most frustrated I have ever been in any period of time in my life. I will forever remember that you had to be at least below 45 seconds to clear it as your car went dark from the shade of the overhang on the farthest east side of the track. On day 3 I finally switched to manual and beat it in like 7 tries. Felt dumb but learned the hard way lol.
