Thanks for the info blue ridge! I just received a 1964 Kennedy on Valentines you might wanna see! Toning like you can believe with a satin finish and a tear drop 4!!! Thanks to your videos I spotted it right away!
Hello BlueRidge . Man I thought it was just anouther half Dollar , now I have to keep this year in that special category list . Thank you BlueRidge excellent video 👍
Always great info here
Good one to get. Thanks Blue Ridge
Supersport. Informative, straight to the point. Going to go though mine again 😄
QUESTION: I just found an 87 D while coin roll hunting and was immediately struck by the fact that it looked absolutely flawless, was shiny, and literally looked like it came straight from the mint into my hand. I am new at coin collecting and had just been going through my 2nd box of Kennedy half dollars ever when I found this. I had no idea 87 Kennedy’s were of low mintage and only realized how hard they were to find after looking up info. My question is this. How do you know when it is worth sending a coin off to be graded? Like I said this 87D looks absolutely incredible....but I am not a coin grader obviously so I have no idea what the grade of this coin may end up being. I can only say that it definitely stands out as an incredibly clean and new looking coin void of scratches and blemishes. Anyway, any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.!
I just got 15 or so P & D 87"s in pretty good shape. One actually still sealed in really good shape. BRSH...your killing me! I have to go find all these coins you push.....
Thanks . Grate info 👍
Great info as usual,thank you

Have a question for you what is an 87 no mint worth I've got to Kennedy's collection of no mint marks and wondering what they are worth if they're worth anything
What about the 1987 proof sets would they be worth money like that also ?
Got one yesterday in a coin roll, a little beat up though. Still worth keeping?
Very good to know, i love my Kennedy's, i actually have 2 87's
What's to stop someone from opening a mint set and getting them graded?
I have a 1971 Kennedy half dollar that I think is a circulated proof. How do I get your opinion on it? Might I send you a picture of it?? Thank You.

🎆2020🎆
I have the 87 P D & S...in mint state in cellophane...and where ever i seek info on the value.....they don't appear to be worth much........why hyping this coin.....or am I missing something????
I found 3 ‘87 so far Coin Roll Hunting. Have at least one of each. Maybe 1 is better than the other 2. But not as nice as your photos.
If you’d like some pics I’d be glad and happy to show you!
Yes I have
Found 87-D looks lije it was plated its so nice
On the reverse of the 1987 graded Kennedy half dollars that were sold in auction there appears to be two round stain's. Doesn't that make them not blemishes free. It's just not mentioned why this doesn't effect the ms-68 quality. Why do these discolored milky spots not qualify as blemishes, I'm sure there are thousands of those coins out there that do not have these spots or blemishes.
Thank you and keep doing what you do, it's been a very important part of how I collect my coins.

If you check the coin on PCGS "verify certificate" 05359298 the round stain on the obverse is not there yet ...
I have p and D in a mint set still in it's set 87 is my bday so I've always collected coins that date
How much is the value of a 1776-1976 quarter 25 c
Good informations and Perfect Vedio from yf in ytube of Morocco
I started watching you about a year and a half ago, when I retired, and started collecting coins. I saw a penny in a bowl full a 2009 lincoln cent reverse side up,and hooked ever since I watched you speak about 1998 Kennedy half dollars, and I just watched this new one, I now have 8 of those things, thanks to you. I agree that they are indeed under the radar. I'm glad I found your shows the information and knowledge you share with every body is great. Thanks you Mr. Blueridge, keep the good informative programs. Attaboy!!!!
👍👍👍
As with most coins it's probably worth face value if you have one. About 6 million P & Ds out there. If at one point the die, planchet and press were in perfect sync, you'd catch a good strike. I have two still in the plastic. Untouched and was told, they're worth 50 cents
at 11.15 the 2 coins the reverse looks the same
So what's that make mint sets worth.
The 2 graded 1987P are the same. PCGS 6751.68/05359298
It sold for 3290$ AUG2014
and for 4112$ OCT2015
Both those 87-P halves are the same coin. Look at the serial number and the stains on the reverse.
Just a mission I've got 50-cent pieces that have three different mint dates monster dye breaks I have a 50-cent piece that has tax stamped on the collar other weird coins if interested would like to see what you think
Yes i have this coin 1987

I just found a 1987 d in a 500 dollar half box 2nd roll I opened
I have about 50 of them the LCS around me don't care about 87s ?? I save them because it's my wife's birth year.
11:20.. same coin sold one year earlier, not a different coin.
Got 1 today
I have a lot of 70s 80s Ms grade are they interesting or not
Understandable that coinage, including the beloved Kennedy Half dollars must be MS67- MS68 FOR ANY Large Premium to be found; But, what about those Kennedy Half dollars that are somewhat circulated but they are largely mint errors coinage on several different dates! And are marked with various mint errors some on the Obverse and many others are mint error coinage on the reverse! Several Kennedy coins are circulated from Bank who exchanged Kennedy Half dollars for face value, prior to the pandemic; and a lot of the Kennedy Half dollars date from 1971- and including 2001, along with 2014 also several 1776-1976 Bicentennial half Dollars With valuable mint errors that their are collectors who will fight for even though they are circulated coinage! Their are some whale's with deep pockets who would eagerly bid to own and rescue these mint errors Kennedy Half dollars Jem's buy taking them out of circulation! The Philadelphia Mints and the Denver Mint produced some of the most disrespectful coinage to date, in regards to handling the production of the beloved assassinated United States President John Fitzgerald Kennedy coinage full of consistent huge mint errors; those mint should be ashamed of themselves for producing so many mint errors coinage of a slain US President, the one and only President John Fitzgerald Kennedy! Who's spouse took the time to request that even his hair to be properly represented on the coinage! Only hope that the Mints, and the Banks volts held on to those coins long enough, that the former finest first lady Kennedy didn't have to see the horrific job that the Mints did to the production and the lack of quality that they produced her husband coinage. When these errors produced by the mints, come up from sale; The whale's with deep pockets should show their honor by bidding and offering the highest amount to purchase those mint errors coinage!
Live life well and enjoy yourself!
I have a 1966 Kennedy Half dollar reverse double die Philadelphia no mint mark also I have a 1967 Kennedy half dollar with no Philadelphia mint mark what is it worth
Both examples of the 87 p are are same coin same number same stains just a better picture and sold a year later.
Hi have ate you i have a coin where can i sell a penny of 1972
I have a 87 Denver mint uncirculated JFK half dollar
It doesn't have any blemishes
People messed up the value of coins. Grading coins just for high grades & only getting less than $200 compared to thousands back then. Thanks PCGS for giving dumb high grades for low mintage.
Not fair I have. At lest 68 Hum did over mint mark

What is a 1987s worth
So if I find this in a box of halves, chances are the best scenario would be MS- 64 Correct ??? Maybe ~!~!
But if I had a mint set of each cause my youngest son was born that year HELLO I just might have a candidate for a 3rd party grader ...............
Plus Tard Mon Ami ~!~!
I couldn’t find a (P) so I purchased a super nice (D) off of Ebay a couple weeks ago. It’s getting graded and then probably off to Great Collections. Thanks blue ridge silver hound!!!
You mean it's a good candidate for to be 68 ??
Cajun Coin Hunter Yes
Wow lucky you ... Was it in a mint set or loose ???? So you knew about the coin for quite some time now .............
Also I found a Kennedy that the reverse is stamped over a different coin. It has a small eagle head near the tip of the left eagle wing and some other things like a nose and a finger.
I've got better looking
Kennedy Coins than that one.
(W\O Stains) lol!
But proof sets are worthless right? Yeah ok.
Buy yourself a 1987 proof set and you’ll have a MS68-70. And proof sets aren’t hard to find.
