- Darrell Brooks was removed from the courtroom multiple times before closing arguments in his trial for allegedly crashing into the Waukesha, Wisconsin, Christmas parade, killing six and injuring dozens of others. Brooks was asked by Judge Jennifer Dorow whether he would be willing to pledge not to be disruptive and he refused to do so.

i think you give him too much credit. i don't think he's intentionally delaying for the sake of a delay. i think he is just completely unable to acquiesce or capitulate, in much the same way as i am unable to fly. whether i want to or not, i just don't have the ability.
I don’t think “loving every minute of it“ is an accurate assessment… He’s an asshole, a narcissist and he’s desperate. The longer he delays the longer he can not end up in jail with a death sentence (6 life sentences, etc). When he broke out and had a crying fit earlier in the trial, it made it clear that he was aware of the actual consequences of his actions, even though he’s trying to avoid them.

Clearly a result of an absentee father. After this trial, Brooks will go to prison, and his various kids will all grow up without him, and so the process repeats.
The judge basically said, "If I bring you back in you have to agree not to be a disrepectful asshole or you will be removed again." and he doesn't understand. 😂
Of course he’s not going to pledge anything, it’s amazing all the choices he gets but the people under his wheels never got a choice. Can’t wait for the sentencing.

I’m an attorney so I understand why she put up with all this nonsense but he has continued to repeatedly disobey her rulings and blatantly argued jury nullification despite her orders not to. That’s grounds for a mistrial by the prosecution but they must feel confident of a guilty verdict and I agree. Any lawyer behaving the way he behaved would be in jail on contempt charges. There’s a limit to what she has to accept before he waives his rights. He has no appealable issues, none, and she would be more than justified in excluding him. Thankfully it is over now, I don’t know how she put up with him for so long. She’s a saint!

He’s not stupid he actually is doing everything in his power for a contempt charge, mistrial or appeal and the court knows what he’s doing, hence why the judge is going above and beyond to make sure this doesn’t happen .

I used to be against the death penalty, this guy changed my mind.
I have always agreed with the death penalty but i think with this mad man it maybe a nightmare in prison with no light at the end of the tunnel.
I don't think other inmates are going to be nearly as patient with him.

Step 3). Act like the victim in every single conversation the judge has and as if you’re a damsel in distress

Clearly, his behavior in court reveals his core personality, that of a narcissist. It tells me he knew what he was doing when he mowed down innocent people, murdering 6, and destroying many lives. He did this deliberately and we may never know why. People like him never own up for their actions. It may have been anger or frustration over a perceived injustice, but people like him believe the world ‘owes them’ and if they don’t get their way, they take it out on the world around them.
That is why the judge should stop EMPOWERING him by continuingly debating him about her rulings!!!! stop repeating herself about stuff she has clearly already made for the record!!!

Can she stop giving him like 20 chances on something? She literally will ask if he'll be quiet so many times. Give him like 2 or 3 chances to answer yes or no and just mute him. I get she's trying to prevent any problems he can use later, but 3 chances would be plenty and save so much time. So much time has been wasted
it prevents him from ever claiming a mistrial which would create so much more trauma for families affected, she's giving him the chances now so that he can't claim he was treated "unfairly". Plus the way he's acting digs out his own hole.

He's trying to look for any loophole he can find. What he doesn't realize is that he's facing 2,000+ years of others before him trying to do the same thing and the court learning from such people. The court system is air-tight, and all a good judge has to do is uphold the regulations of the court process to take care of delinquents like this.

@@reddlady5997 he's being charged with 76 different counts I believe, ranging from murder to assault with a deadly weapon. There's also a domestic violence charge in there. It'll take a couple days more than likely to get through all of the chatges regardless of how obvious it is he is guilty because of the way they have to go through each one individually. The process will make it take longer than it needs to.

I’ve seen some odd and shady fellows, most recent was the dude with the crazy spiked hair (I forgot his name but he got a life sentence) but this clown takes it to whole new level. The judge is a smart and very patient woman because she knows exactly what is trying to do. At the end of the road, he will have to practice his best surprised pickahu face when he is found guilty and gets life sentence. Hopefully the bantiffs are at the ready when that day comes.
