      oxeclean8 Thanks for the business. I’m sure the car felt much better with the new parts. 👍🏻

    • @oxeclean8
      @oxeclean8 6 лет назад

      @@Romee_rome I did consider it but decided to stay ap2 flywheel because the car is a daily driver and I didn't want to have to deal with having to rev the car out more in traffic or any issues with possible stalling from idle drop. That and I figured Honda's engineers knew what they were doing when they made the decision to add a CDV and go with a heavier flywheel. If the car was more of a track car I would probably have gone with an ap1 or other lightweight flywheel.

    As a mechanic myself.. I can say I disagree on the test drive scenario, you just did a big service to a s2000 I would put more that a driveways worth of a test drive on the clutch. Make sure there are no noises. Obviously if you do the job right you shouldnt have an issue, but nobody is perfect. I love all the content you guys do. But even after I do a brake job on a vehicle I drive it for a couple miles and make sure everything is perfect. Like you guys I am very careful and give every car i work on my own TLC and treat every car like it is my own. Just my opinion! Keep up the good work though. On a side note I just wanna say sometimes after I finish a car, I think to myself "John would be proud of my TLC". :-)

    • @LHTPerformance
      @LHTPerformance  6 лет назад +1

      Gi Yoon Well, based on the miles it’s debatable. Honda’s take is , if there’s no sign of leak or damage , leave it. The problem is , the seal actually wears a groove in the crank, often changing the seal could cause a leak unless the seal is positioned in a different spot.

    I've replaced the tranny fluid, replaced clutch fluid, replaced clutch master, regreased shifter and adjusted clutch freeplay.
