"if you want to pose this, maybe this figure is not for you". That sums it all in one phrase. I do not collect this line so I am merely entertained with your review, whether the figure is classic or not. I would love to see AnthonysCustoms mancave while you are working on it.
Exactly most people that are complaining about it are people that pose it which ruins my review

It feels like they're releasing too many figures in too short of a timespan, leading to a lot of rushed and strange decisions. Really hoping Sanji is good because he's my favorite Straw Hat 🤞

Sanji bodymold looks like the one They used in shf jujutsu kaisen figs. and they are awesome articulated, hopefully Sanji is gonna be sick! 🔥
What's the best zoro figure to buy?

I just bought Shf Sanji, this one is cool for posing, his suit and fire legs are really good. If shf dragon ball's joints were 9/10 then these shf one piece's joints would be 5-6/10. If you wanna get one of these shf one piece series, i would recommend you Sanji, compare to Luffy and Zoro this one was way better
Zorro is a swordsman and not having good articulation is very disappointing. Hopefully they will make his earlier appearance where his clothes doesn’t get in the way of articulation.
That’s what I wanted was his pre time slip where he could move easily and quickly
The closest we have to that is the live action zoro is a pretty solid figure
Man, that is a bummer. Zoro is a favorite character of mine and we didn’t get him the first time SH Figuarts dipped their toe into the One Piece license, so I was pretty excited to start collecting this new batch.
Man despite its flaws, this figure looks like a ton of fun and pops with the contrasting bright to dark colors. The issues are annoying for sure, but not a deal breaker for me. And for your question, personally I love progress videos on projects like basements and collections so I’m all about progress videos. Great video man.
That fact that his skirt is so restrictive is baffling to me casue sasukes skirt comes down just as low but is super soft and gets out of the way no problem

Same with Orochimaru and Obito

Thank you for the review Anthony. Appreciate the honest, unbiased and straight to the point reviews. I'm undecided on whether to opt for the variable action heroes one piece re-issue line or go SHF. Its a toss up. Would be great to be apart of your journey on the development your man cave. Its a collectors dream to have that special dedicated space to display one's treasures.😁

This Zoro is bumming me out. I had decent hope for it being fun to pose with all those sword technique stances he has. Guess that’s out of the question.

For the question, Pretimeskip all the way! Specially Zoro. Sure the new design is cool and more 'pirate-y' but I like pretimeskip more and the restriction on the articulation is not worth it.
Design wise I don't care for the onigashima versions of Nami, Robin, Ussop, Franky, etc. Bandai is likely to do them to capitalize on the relevancy of the arc but All the strawhats are better in pretimeskip designs. Luffy and Sanji don't change that much anyway.
As someone who likes the figure despite of the big flaws, I’m interested in how Anthony sees it.
I think bandai should calm down with the SHF right now, they're pumping out alot of prototype and announcement about other popular character, which made them rush the hell out of their figures, the inconsistent QC is making me nervous with the recent upcoming Sanji, and berserk figures, hopefully, they'll delay some of the figures because this is getting out of hand for one-piece toyline right now

I feel this with a lot of the S.H. Figuarts lines lately, they seem very over-engineered for engineering’s sake when there’s easy ways of achieving the same thing that work more effectively. I’m trying to take steps forward, they’re somehow in reverse.

seeing their revival of the naruto line with naruto being pretty much my fave figuarts i was really hoping for the revival of the one piece line to do as well but sadly its not good enough to warrent me buying fully into the line i think for now ill stick with the luffy for the big three and wait to see what happens when they get around to their more generic outfits
For your 1st question I’ll be interested in any look they go with, BUT I want this line to be good, I want to pose them to do cool things together, I don’t want to worry about articulation or plastic quality causing pop offs or breaks like VAH did.. already looking shaky with some decisions they made has me worried for the lines longevity.
What's so frustrating is that this could so easily have been a great figure. Decent butterfly joints, and swap the soft plastic parts with that super soft plastic they used on Shippuden Sasuke and this figure would've been awesome. I made a DIY soft goods piece to replace one of the robe parts and that helps a little, but it sucks to know the leg articulation is there, but you still can't do most of the iconic Zoro poses with this figure. The arm pops off mine all the time too.
Worse part is Orochimaru and Obito came out after this figure and their cloths used the same plastic as Sasuke
I like the onigashima suits.....but hope this blows up enough to get the OG suits. Would love to see this line grow as much as the dbz. The OP world gas endless characters for bandai to make.
I’ve seen some upgrade kits for this thing wear it gives you a cloth waistcoat, which I think works a lot better.
Honeslty for me, his shirtless version would’ve been better to do, would’ve been more poseable.

I think the Naruto and chainsaw man lines for sh figuarts have been so far their best figure lines ever.
Both have good amounts of accessories, great articulation and great sculpts all at affordable prices.
Wish they would help out with these other lines a bit.
If Gabimaru is anything to go by, their Hell's Paradise figures will be up there with the best too. It's just a shame that such a popular IP as One Piece seems to have figures made by the 'B Team' over at Bandai.
@@EvilRobotSteve yeah it’s sad, especially when they are so close to being perfect.
Luffy’s only issues are not having any effects pierce and his knees being limited. Literally everything else is good. And with Zoe it’s kind of the same story and it’ll probably be the same either way sanji.
Hopefully by the time they get to their more popular outfits they upgrade their bodies.
Well i don't really follow Chainsaw man but yeah i agree that the Naruto line is currently their best line atm, the improvement compared to their first release is pretty good, and so far I'm very satisfied with that line

JJK line has been really solid as well
Not the biggest JJK fan but might pick up Geto because he looks pretty cool and heard some great stuff about it
when i tried posing this with a slightly wider stance, the entire torso came off the legs (and so of course the arm came off too in all the commotion). i’ve never had a figure completely blow up on me like that
you should check out the jujutsu kaisen shf line, they've been pretty good releases imo

Im praying that they make pre time skip one peoce figures i LOVE the idea of having one piece figures but as you said i like the "player one look"

If you heat up the sash a bit with a hair dryer it should be pliable enough to get the pegs in. The sheathes on mine are are fine after doing that.

Ive preordered the monster trio. Honestly gutted by the lack of accessories for luffy, zorro falling apart and lack of good articulation.
I was going to get kaido and yamato and hopefully all the straw hats bit after the issues these two have had im rethinking that already.
So disappointing.
Ive seen some "dlc" packs for accessories, a coat/cape for luffy and a cloth robe for zoro but i dont know about that one if its just gunna fall apart constantly 😅

I was looking forward so much for this one piece line, so far two preorders cancelled. I do hope they get better with new world or pre time skip versions
Creo que lo resumiste muy bien. Si eres muy exigente con el dinamismo y experto posando figuras, pues no la compres ya que solo te sentirás estafado. En cambio, si eres fan del personaje y no sueles ser posar muy bien, pues te vendrá bien porque estéticamente tiene muy buen esculpido. Valoro que sigan innovando pero ojalá la marca mejore pronto.
honestly, they started off with some pretty hype characters so to have the first two dropped and fumbled is not that good, then to drop sanji and yamato as hope only to reveal kaidos price point. will gear5 be the sole savior of this line? or will we have to forget this line and move onto romance dawn? either way i’m collecting them all
Progress and once it’s done also I don’t mind on the figures I hope you convince me to actually go ahead and get him because I had canceled my pre order from watching other reviews just felt a bit disappointed so yep

honestly im fine with them being the wano looks but when we get usopp or chopper, im not excited cause i dont like their looks in wano, but of course we have to get brand synergy to line up with the anime, but i hope they do give us their actual timeskip looks and not wano, and of course praying or pre timeskip

Shf have been lacking recently with certain choices it sucks cause they do so much right at the same time. It feels like they are putting too much into overengineering (that makes articulation worse) and the aesthetic/quality is taking a hit because of it.
God i wish i watched this before buying. I was watching this review thinking my zoro was broken and turn to find out the figure just sucks in general. Gonna watch before buying now.

Yea this one is an easy pass for me, and the left arm is prime example why I am so disappointed with Luffy, its a cylindrical peg with no catch, so they expect a pressure fit peg to stay in place but it does not work at all
I got mine to tab in by taking it apart, but it was still a pain in the ass...
I wish they could remake this figure ‘cause I really dig this outfit on Zoro

Question of the day: I don't think anything about One Piece line, I don't collect them but I guess everyone would like to have option to get classic look of all main cast. For your basement space, I personally would share as little as possible so for me it would be ok if you would post just the end result of your work but I know a lot people love to see someone bulding or finishing part of a house, if you feel comfortable to share your progress and ignore haters then I guess you should do it.

i would watch basement build updates if you put them out as shorts. If you do longer videos I would personally probably just skip through, but some people might like that content. I would for sure like to see a proper video once youre done setting it

I share ya thinking that "soft" plastic one piece clothing feature instead of helping just restricts its posability!
That annoyed me with gohan beast and picolo orange.
Long Coat like clothing shiuld have slimmer soft 0pastic idk or do extra cuts in the cloth8ng to help the posability sacrificing some easthetics

Bruhhh my copy broke right out the box I tried seeing if I can get a replacement figure or something but I feel like I'm gonna wait like 10 years for it
For me, this figure feels like a prototype. The waist pops apart like crazy and the arms having such limited movement for a swordsman is such a disappointment. If he was a lower price like luffy I think it would be a little more acceptable but the qc and odd design choice for $70 is crazy to me. It's a damn shame too, because he is an amazing looking figure.

There isn't really a "traditional look" for the strawhats, each arc they always have a new outfit and are pretty consistent with it even pre timeskip. It is what it is lol

Figuarts quality lately makes me really worried for the future figures in the Naruto line, especially Orochimaru, as i'm really looking forward to that figure as the only other figure of him (the Mattel one) is atrocious.
Definitely wanna see the mancave. The specific outfits are fine because it looks good. This is the worst figure to be released recently. Like man. Everything other figure is better than this(not by leaps and bounds but better)
