- HE'S SO TERRIBLE I CAN'T HOLD IT IN. This guy has me rethinking the entire line, the ultimate monkeys paw. Wanting SHF One Piece for its limitless roster of characters, only for them all to be done terrible. Luffy wasn't good, but after modding he was a pretty good time. After modding Zoro... he was manageable? Bahhh what a bad time. SANJI PLEASE BE GOOD

I saw this at Target for like $30. It looked good but thought "wait... what's wrong with it?". Thank you for preventing me from wasting my money and avoiding confused frustration with this figure.
That one was probably a budget version aswell with less accessories and no luffy face
The figure was so bad he game up with a new name “terribad” xD
If you do a VAH Crocodile quickie, you should use Bad Premonition and/or Sneak and Defeat from Pirate Warriors 2.
I would love a pre time skip Zoro that looks good, and articulates great, but, seeing the current state of figuarts, that's probably not happening
to be fair, a pre time skip Zoro would be much easier to engineer than post time skip due to the lack of robes, this figure is definetly a mixed bag even outside the skirt pieces but if they ever do a pre time skip I think they can manage at least a decent figure.
Pre timeskip Zoro would be a perfect figure

You should keep an eye out for One piece Live action SHF Zoro(Makenyu Zoro) apart from his torso articulation i think that Zoro will be the best Zoro SHF we will ever get , Videos are awesome tho keep up the good work.

I got Luffy late and he stays together just fine so maybe it’s an early model thing? Idk but imma wait a lil while for Zoro too then
Kinda the same for both, my luffy came great, and my zoros not so bad maybe lil patience
I'd wait for a mark 2 or some new version of these figures honestly, they got the character likeness to a tea but the engineering needs some work, and accessories for Luffy specifically are underwhelming.

Thank you I’ve used some of your tips and now I can move his legs more by removing one of the cloak pieces and now his arm hasn’t fallen off at after pushing in the shoulding farther
0:09 as someone who owns an SHFiguarts zoro figure, this is true, the left arm always fell off while posing or moving it

it's honestly a real shame how bad the bag was fumbled with zoro. I'm really hoping that sanji is much better.

My shf Zoro wasn’t bad looks great my Zoro had mid articulation but I did have the fabric skirt first thing I had trouble with the right arm I can’t get the swords in the belt my right arm was still good my overall rating I’ll say a 8.5/10
Had to get a second zoro because my scabbard snapped and then ended up using half of my old zoro on my new one..I’m so disappointed
He was so happy at first but then so mad😂
Watching this while the glue dries on the scabbards I broke trying to get them in his fucking sash :^)))

Why couldn't they have just used that thinner, more flexible material they used on Ichigo (among other figures) for Zoro's skirt? Wouldn't have fixed all of the issues but it certainly would've helped. Need that to be the case for Yamato pls
On a more positive note, I'm glad Sanji looks like a great release! My fav Straw Hat :>
The funny thing is I would argue the Ichigo would've benefited from joints for his coat to pose the pieces dynamically.
But yes, the way they are now, that type of soft rubbery material would've worked well for Zoro.
seems they kinda rushed the figures to cash on the Gear 5th vs Kaido hype, which is a shame but at least the likeness is on point, and the figures are pretty ok overall, though the engineering on Zoro especially could use some work, which hopefully will come with figures of the default post time skip designs in the future.
There's actually a replacement for Zoro's skirt so it's made of actual cloth (and giving you more articulation range)
Part of me hopes they redo this figure later on in the line (if this line doesn’t die) cause i dont have mine but this does not get me excited

Do they even care? They've made so many engineering mistakes with the One Piece line that it seems like they don't care or they are using it for a testing ground for new employees and for trying out new, untested engineering etc.
I used a lighter to heat up the hard corner parts of his skirt,(careful while using a lighter/flames) and gotten some range, my initial goal was to heat up the hole/opening so he didnt pop off while bending, so try heating maybe with a heat gun
Latest Bandai figures have been poorly designed/executed.
Guts also looks great but posing him has been the most awful experience I have had with an action figure in a while... It's also very loose in some places.
Are the sheathes at least detachable from the main fig? I'm planning to buy this even if it's bad

How sh figuarts could do knockout after knockout with the Dragonball line then drop the ball this catastrophically is beyond me. They had years to work out how to do one piece figures and it looks like they waited til a few months before actually putting these out.
instead of revealing a new goku and vegeta every 4 days,they could spend time on this line so the releases arent terrible
