Darts Conor's funny quiz answers are in. :)
My channel is exclusive to darts only content. I create my content as I simply love to play darts and want to help other dart players improve with my own channel.
All my video's are based on how to play darts as well as advise on equipment and general darts setup with the aim to guide any new players in their darting journey as well as provide more experienced or even professional dart players with dart content to help improve.
I throw around an 80 average myself with my left hand due to injury and dartitis in my right arm.
I may, on occasion, use footage from the Professional darts corporation (the P.D.C) as well as The British Darts organisation, WDF and Modus. These are used under fair use legislation, and all credit should be given to the rightful creators.

I can fully back this up Dan with my experience of the precision fitting. I had mine around October last year and I only paid £150 for mine which I thought was a fair price for what was advertised. My experience was very similar, I travelled 2.5 hours each way and was in for around 40 mins (approx) not the full hour, I also didn’t have any form of slo-mo of had the dart flight checked by video. I didn’t use any other length of stem or style of flight, I was given Cosmos to try and told they were perfect. I left with the exact same dart, the Mission Crypt, I threw a straight barrel that was 23g and moved to 21g. Again, seems to be the same style dart. I was happy at first but then once home on reflection wasn’t really as advertised, however that being said you pay for the opinion and it is given, but my experience wasn’t like what you see on other darts RUclips channels. I used the crypts for a few hours and couldn’t get used to them so went back to my other darts. I agree with your comment about not having a consistent throw as mine wasn’t at the time. Andy got to his dart of choice pretty quickly and we made some time up by playing a few games of 121, Andy’s a great guy but I wouldn’t pay more than the £150.

Thanks for this. I was contemplating buying this service but I think now - I won’t be.
I’m not consistent enough to make it worth while and the drive is 5hours from me!

I think the mission precision service is basically what a good dart shop should offer to find your set. I remember that was free, though the sets cost a bit more than online. I mean, you get your items and Andy and maybe that's worth it, but I do strongly believe it's for the kind of customer that is into solutions to problems they maybe didn't have before. From my experience I have to go and experience the darts and set ups myself and for that reason I've bought different shapes, weights, lenghts etc. and to have an overview of your general options you probably need almost the same budget. You can take your time with it though and don't have somebody reviewing your throw. But in my opinion the biggest judge is the board anyway. You can also sell the leftover darts to make some money back. From the promotional videos I thought he's got an idea of what he's doing and the charme to sell it. I'm not agreeing on everything, though I understand where he's coming from. I'm the character to experiment and find my own way, as mentioned, so I would sure question the opinion he gave me, whatever he said. So he could be a consultant I'd listen to for options to consider, but not strictly believe in them. And that's probably what you meant. It's the narrative. If you seek help, think he's your savior and will stick to the plan, then it will work for you. Because you don't question and keep on track. It's the same for a freethinker. You've got to make choices and follow them long term for results. The difference is it's intrinsic and not extrinsic. There's not just one path to excellence. One is more rocky or curvy than the other to you, but you can get there nonetheless.

I think this is an early stage of a fitting process that needs to exist in the game. Look at something like golf...there is an entire industry around fitting the right equipment. Whereas in darts...it's "yeah, whatever feels good, go with it." I think there's a definite space for this service to live in the darts world.

Someone commented on the original video about how you only have mission darts available. I was also disappointed about only using mission darts, as the website says 'over 200 darts' I think they mean all of the weights of the 20 or so darts they have at the experience. At mine I used more different types of stem and flight combos, but still only 5 different set ups maybe (condor axe, condor zero stress, nylon stem and standard flight, L-Style, maybe one more not sure). And I think the length of stem was changed a couple of times between medium, short and a little bit shorter. No different shape flights though

One other thing I would like to add is the discounts. Andy brings out a sheet of A4 with a 'selection' of about 4-5 mission products to choose from that have discounted prices. But I have to add I was very happy with their service, just with time I think there is a lot they could do to make it better overall. Everything you've said would improve the experience

I went to this last year and my experience was the same. I traveled down from Scotland for it and was in and out in about 35-40 mins, it all felt a bit rushed. No slow mo or great range of options for flights/stems-and yup, you guessed, the same shape of barrel (got given the kommodos which seem to be a favorite for handing out).
The quest but about it though was the weight drop-i was throwing 26g and he moved me down to 22g. A massive, massive drop. When i mentioned that they felt like he didn't pay any attention.
I contacted Andy in the weeks after and it was obvious from his reply that he wasn't bothered by my experience-even stating that "heavy darts is for lazy players". 😳😳😳😳.

I had my fitting last month and do agree with the time it takes felt a bit rushed but did change my darts and after a 7/8 weeks of using nothing else there is improvement, but I have only been playing a couple of years

Thanks as always for setting the bar high in dart related content. Anything which can help people think twice before giving away their money is a good thing. Shame of Mission.

Its a dodgy service. Youll only ever end up with whatever they need to bolster sales on, whatever stock they need to shift the most. Unfortunately this will target amd appeal to newer players to our game, those that just arrived with the Luke Littler hype, they will be fleeced for their money and will believe everything theyre told. Its sad

    2 questions dan.
1 couldn't any dart shop do this fitting for cheaper.
2 how busy is your coaching. Im looking to find consistency and improve

Yes, they could and I'm fully booked for regular weekly visits until the middle of June but I always get Players that can't make a session, drop me and email with your avaliablity and I'll try to make it work. I coach 7 days a week 12 to 17 hour shifts, so times zone difference are fine as well. :)

I did it when it was being introduced and was £150, which i thought was decent for what i got, i wouldn't pay £250 though.
You make a good point on the throw consistently,i was just starting out and now nearly 2yrs on i throw slightly differently but to be fair, still throw a similar barrel as i got.
I had a front loaded barrel and have seen people say about everyone getting the same shape/ same few darts, to which i know from experience isn't true.
I certainly enjoyed doing it abd did think Andy was good, but i wouldn't pay more than the £150 i did for it.

Sent a strongly worded email threating defamation, had it checked by my solicitor, and spoke with Andy Cornwall today. Definitely no case for defamation.
