I watched the filming in Carmel along Ocean Avenue and more along Scenic Avenue. When you watch the movie, all those driving scenes they spent 2 days shooting do not really show any recognizable buildings or landmarks in Carmel. It's all just a blur in the background. They could have filmed those street scenes on a studio backlot for a fraction of the cost. Its amazing how they broght a huge film crew and tons of support trucks to film on that street and you can't even tell its Carmel. Once thing they did that was interesting was they installed a bunch of prop street lights along Scenic Ave since the street is totally dark at night. They had to run heavy duty wires up and down the street to each of the prop street lights to illuminate them. It took them days to install these lights and it it was just for a few seconds of screen time.
Yes, I had the same feeling! All that set up and location filming for very little screen time?!?
I actually made it in the film. I’m sitting amour front of the Carmel Roasting company . I wasn’t even an extra lol 🤷🏻♂️😅
@@StanleyFoss Congrats on making it in the film! I also applied to be an extra but did not get selected. I still tried to get in a scene by sitting at an outdoor table on a side street they were filming on. It was a shot where the director, Janus Metz, was making a cameo of himself walking a dog down the sidewalk. The shot didn't make the final cut.
Another fun entertaining video. I look forward to seeing the movie and seeing the location video you'll be doing. 👍🏻
Yeah I hope the movie turns out good 🙂
That is so cool Chris Pine , talk to you for a little bit 😀. Plot twist: what if it was his stunt double 🤔 lol. Excellent video, as always 👍 👌 👏
Hahah! Yeah I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to see the real person! 😅🤣
Chris Pine looks unrecognizable, I love Thandie Newton so I will be watching 👀 .
I’m reading the book right now and it’s a pretty good spy novel . Looking forward to the movie.
@@StanleyFoss Good to know! I Will add this book , to my tbr
Short book, easy to read!
I did not get the ending I was expecting!!
@@tinagraziotti3892 I’m almost finished with it :)
I believe I was there this day they were filming at del monte. I was in front of the Apple store watching and recording as well 👍🏼
Oh cool, yeah it fun seeing a little behind the scenes action 👍🏻
Hoi Stanley, weer een prachtige video. Ik kik ze altijd met veel plezier.
dank u zeer. Zo blij dat je ervan geniet!
This was great !! Do more please. Thanks.
Thanks! More on the way soon 👍🏻👍🏻
Hello my beautiful great fans , thanks for support, happy New year to you, how are you doing, I hope everything is fine, you can write me in the hangout app with my email. Chrispine5557@gmail.com
I was there, too, looking down the filming at the Cypress Inn from my window. I have a picture/video of you taking pictures of Chris Pine. 😄
Was a fun couple of days! I must look like the Paparazzi lol
Monterey is such a great place - was there in 2005 - oh my, that was a long time ago. And Stan - about being snubbed - it's their loss man. An egregious oversight on their part. Stay strong man, we're here for you 😛😎
Lol thanks! Yeah, no reply from them at all?! Thanks ... I will stay strong 💪🏻 😁😆
Sooooo cool
When is the release date?
Is it coming to the widescreen?
Not sure . They said it was an Amazon original. So it will probably be on Amazon Prime and maybe theaters at the same time??

I've been a fan of his for quite sometime, I knew if he spotted u he'd do that lols. It's his put the camera away bud, u can watch but don't film. He is pretty old school and protective of keeping as much of the production secret, which is extremely hard these days to do.
Ahh thanks for the info. I hope we didn’t annoy him too much, but he seemed in good spirits. It must be hard to stay in character with fans pointing cell phones at you 😅
@@StanleyFoss he's used to it, it's pretty hard filming film in total secret these days unless your on a sound stage.
Are you on instagram
I am, it’s just stanleyfoss, but I don’t really post any locations stuff 😅
Never heard of this film. Doesn't look very interesting 😐.......😕.
It’s supposed to be a thriller , according to IMDB. But all I caught were driving and walking shots. They either shot the more exciting scenes in London or on a soundstage possibly? It will be on Amazon Prime next year.
@@StanleyFoss they only shot three days in Carmel all the rest where filmed in London.
