Are we crowding this saw on this big red oak?

Our saw blade started to get a bit warm and started to wobble a bit. Pete thinks we might be 'crowding' the saw, which is pushing the log too hard into the saw. Please leave a comment and tell us what you think.

Keep an eye on pieces getting caught between the blade and the table. That will cause the blade to heat quickly.

I have no idea if you are crowding the saw however I don’t see other circle sawyers going that fast on hardwood. Have you tried slowing down and see if that fixes the problem?

Could it be that it needs to be hammer to your rpm?
