I'm really loving these three minute reviews.
You don't see enough pinball inspired dungeon crawlers these days.
In fact, you don't see one at all...
Lol. There's a pinball inspired platformer/Metroidvania which is very good. It's called Yoku's Island Express.
Firestriker on snes did this kind of thing.
@@erectacuscox4044 i always thought it was such a great idea. Are there any other games from back in the day like frestriker? Sonic spinball sort of comes to mind although it's not a dungeon crawler

Huh. This looks like a nice blend of cerebral puzzler and bullet-hell action-adventure.
As always, these reviews are straight to the point. The difficulty spike in that one temple would usually convince me to quit, but forewarning alleviates my usual concerns that it's the rule, rather than the exception.

This game seams way more interesting then what popped into my head after reading the description on steam. Time to add it to my wish list and get it in a few months.....

Ah. Bullet hell and timed puzzles. Thanks for the information. I was super unclear what the heck this was based on its Steam page. Seems a very cool idea that is utterly not up my alley. Hope these devs do well.

i think they are finally doing actual reviews of little gems like these instead of the bs they were doing before, good job, good game journalism, objective and on point
"pinball" as a descriptor turned me away from this. I avoided this for far too long but gave it a shot and now I love this game. Language really matters.

I was having fun until I got stuck on the Synchronous Field boss.
After six hours of no progress I just quit.
Shame, because it was a great game up until that point.
Old games that tried this sort of mashup (Firestriker, Devilish) were subpar, hence this might be a 'breakout' title...

On pc the precise aming sucks, you cant get the angle you need easily and you can spend a few minutes just repeating the same action hoping you get the angle the developers wanted

Nhl after playing for... 3 hours ? I got bored. Puzzles are not difficult, they are just annoying. It's a weird game...
