Really great game. For me, it was love at second sight. You have to give it time and once it makes click, it's not so hard anymore. After my first session i kind of hated it but yesterday i played half through the game and had a lot of fun, it's all about skill & gameplay. Another great example of a good game from a small team (shoutout to Team Cherry^^). Love & Respect from germany.
Oh my. A robot crossing a desert storm with techno music in the back = take my money.
Bloodworth did a great job on this review because I was able to tell what the score was by the tone of his words.
It's always annoying to listen to a review and then be surprised by a higher or lower number score at the end.
it's an okay game. 9/10
This game was made for games pass. I loved it but once I hit a difficulty spike I paused, may get back to it, may not. Perfect for a monthly subscription model
Honestly I really vibed with this game and it gets really intense at times and personally gameplay wise, especially the boss fights against the creature IN THE MOUNTAIN (lol), reminded me of Furi with moment to moment twitch reactions. If you make sure to search your surroundings there are weapons and upgrades to slow things down or give you a laser sight/ catch faster balls/ catch a larger amount of balls at a time.
The story is also quite satisfying for being a little 15 dollar game.
And the music, the music is wonderful!
Albeit niche, this game hit something I haven’t felt since the original DS. This game had me feeling like a kid again finding that game no one knows about scrambled within all the random game cartridges at GameStop.
Creature in the Well felt like a small passion project that wanted to doing something small and succeeded.
Thank you Bloodworth and Jones!
Still waiting for that Astral Chain review, lol.
This game seems interesting, but I have heard sorta mixed things about it.
Really? I haven't played yet, but it's like the best reviewed recent game on Metacritic.
It’s gotten mostly positive reviews
I wanted to like this one but it did not do it for me sadly. Luckily got it on GamePass!
yeah, same. luckily just tried it on gamepass. not good.
4:07 How is that achievement box red!?
This game is not pinball. It is breakout.
Yeah, looks more like Breakout than Pinball, if you really want a mix of Pinball and Metroidvania with cute graphism, try out Yoku's Island Express, also on Xbox Pass.
Just played this on Gamepass for a couple hours. It's fun but after two and a half hours or so I'm getting a little bored with it. The mechanics are interesting and the game does its best to keep the rooms interesting but at some point it felt like it only got more hectic instead of more interesting. Fun game, good not great but interesting ideas. Totally agree with the review.
This is actually a good game. I like it worth the 15 bucks i spent on it.
I really expected them to review this on Switch
See this on xbox game pass. Might have to bust this out now. Don't look to bad
Is the Astral Chain review still coming ? I already have the game but I still want to hear Ben's opinions on it
@@EasyAllies great, can't wait for it, you're the best Blood 👍
Where is the astral chain review??
@@EasyAllies you are awesome!!looking forward to it!!
Game Pass, baby!
No astral chain review?
Ezra Laguna in the works!
Ben's working on it I believe
Guess we gotta keep waiting for Astral Chain
Where's the Astral Chain review? Never mind, scrolled down and got my awnser, I predict an 8, but It's really a 9, imho.
This game feels really unsatisfying to play and control, unfortunately. Not the kind of thing you want in a pinball-inspired game.
Hm. I'm not sure how I feel about this game. Looks a little too chaotic.
You get used to it, give it time. :D
Back door shady deals.
Where the hell is GEARS 5 review? Are they just skipping it?
@@EasyAllies Thanks for the answer blood. I just figured you guys woulve game pass ultimate'd it and had it since the 5th
