I lived in the Cayman Islands for a short bit and it is one of the safest islands in my opinion but it is also one of the more expensive islands. I notice that Cayman is not mentioned a lot when people talk about the Caribbean.

I haven't seen any snakes, but we haven't gone hiking. I would assume they have them in the "woods" and maybe in the rocky inclines near the beach. 🐍

Yes, no Amazon in Portugal, we have to order from Spain or Germany. Portugal only has 10 million people so, I guess they figured there is not enough demand to invest in the infrastructure needed.
