Maybe it's cultural but the same music doesn't inspire the same thoughts in me. Personally, I feel it gives the scene an upbeat feeling contributing in the feel good vibes of this particular film. A lot of kudos goes to the composer, rip James Horner.

That swing onto the elevator is my favorite movie stunt of all time. I realize it’s very simple and not really a big deal compared to many others, but I love the fluidity and preciseness of it.

Maybe because I can see it really being done, and it seems like a lot of fun- something I would like to have done when I was a kid.

Compared to a lot of stuff you see in older movies that is, before digital technology made things look much more harrowing than they actually are. The most complicated part about the swing is the precise timing, which would require a trained professional. Tom Cruise is a rarity. Stuntmen are almost always used for stuntwork such as this.
I read an article of this movie that it said that Arnold Schwarzenegger actually really picked up the Phone Booth. I was so impressed how strong Arnold really is, according to the director.

Gotta give Ahnold credit-he did his own stunts in this movie and dislocated an ankle shooting the scene where he rolls across the hood of Sully's getaway Porsche.
I died when he got outside and Sully hit him with the car lmfao. He just got up even more determined and clearly not realizing he was hit with a sports car
