Wish the celebrities flying around in private jets producing millions of tons of emissions in 1 month had to abide by the same standards as us car and bike enthusiasts.
exactly. Just those rich fks alone produce 50% of carbon emissions on the planet, yet they restrict only us normies. Just taylor swift alone took an insane amount of 170 + private jet flights last year, which equals 120 tonnes of CO2 emissions, 83 times that of the average american.
I really dont know why they bother anymore, like 70-80% of riders in EU will get rid of the stock exaust anyway... For my GSR 750 i did that and they can give me tickets and take my number plates as many time as they want, i will still put the SC project back on it every single time.
I'm not buying new, I buy used low milage bikes but because they aren't making new ones people are holding onto their old ones and the prices of inline 4s are climbing
Dont know about yamaha but i just saw a 2 stroke ktm 6 days at my local dealear at russia and it had plates, turn signals and mirrors jsut like ktm 500 exc. Turns out it has street compliant exhaust and ecu flash that matches all emissions. But when you buy it dealer "sorts" it out themselves and you get your beast ready for rocky mounains.
If you happen to see this(or anyone with any knowledge of this issue), does your RSV4 burn oil? The service guy at the dealership told me that it's normal for these bikes to burn around .7L per 600-1000 miles.
Seems like a common issue with the latest rsv4's. 2 riders I know with 2022-2023 rsv4's have crazy oil usage. 0.5 to 0.7L per 1000km.. it's insane. If it's over 1L per 1000km you can get a rebuild or a new engine if it's within warranty.
The sales dictated the production, not the euro bs. All they had to do was add a Catalytic converter & de tune the engine to pass emissions. Facts. Don’t get it twisted.
Glad I don’t live in Europe, or cali for that matter. My bike has been modified enough now that i have to worry every time I ride in cali though. They really don’t like full race exhaust systems and anything to do with messing with emissions.

I'm from Europe and I have never met anyone that agrees with the emission standards, everything over Euro 4 has ruined the automotive industry.
1 reason ill always collect older bikes. Look sound and just smell different 🖤

Yep.. well intentioned but killing the sport along with prices being to high for bikes

One of the reasons why I still bought a 2025 gsxr750 which still has the screaming inline 4.
