the authenticity and simplicity of Salomon. It makes me want to cry. Salomon I wish you the best for the rest of your life. People like you are the ones this earth needs.
Such a humble man. We need more of him in this world. I tip my hat to you sir
Yeah, especially coming from a line of mechanics, he has wrenching in his blood - yet he’s still really humble. Thanks for watching Jason!
I fix forklifts for a living for about 13 years.. it’s a secret trade where you can make a lot of money. If you get into this trade be a road tech, that’s where the money can be made. Please keep these videos coming man!!
How much does it pay? 6 figures possible in it?
@@JOPPMAN8000 yes.
Good to know! Thanks for watching! More videos to come!
I’ve been a forklift tech for almost 2 years as a resident tech at one of my companies customers. Just waiting for a position to be available on the road
@@LName100 having a house account is cool, but I love getting paid to drive around. Hope you hit the road soon!
such a wholesome video, these box tours from exp vets in the trade is motivational
I was so glad he invited me out. Thanks for watching!
That is one happy man takes pride in his tools kind of reminds me of another man I know he can tell you what year how much he paid unreal great video keep them coming 👍😎👍
It is just as fun to see honest, hard workers as it is to see their tools. To see the pride they have in their tools, it may be the only time in their lives they have someone appreciate the work that they do. I am not sure anyone is telling them thanks for their work, or appreciates the investment in tools they do make.
This guy seems so sweet. So down to earth and truly loves his tools! I’m always so excited to watch a new tour, such cool guys you connect with!
This channel will blow right up speaking it into existence
Slow and steady makes me happy! 😊
Don’t think it gets any cleaner than that setup. So nice.
It really was clean! Thanks John! Don’t worry - I’m getting Christmas cards out soon 😉
Another great video.
Even though I’ve been in the engine building trade for over 50 years, I’ve learned so much from others in their collection and reviewing of different tools.
I look forward to every Saturday morning.
Again, I want to thank you and the technicians that take the time to put this together 👍🏻 👊🏻
I’m glad you enjoy these videos! Thanks for watching Russell
What a genuinely good dude. Great setup!
Sullivan is a stand up guy with a sweet setup! Thanks for sharing 😊
It's nice to see a fellow forklift mechanic on here
The videos on your Channel just keep getting better and better!
This guy seems like a cool dude! And he’s got some bad ass tools!
He was cool forsure!
Isn’t this channel the best?
@@ryan.mullenit fuels my tool addiction for sure 😂
As an industrial electrician I’ve spent my career trying to NOT be the ground ! lol in reference to the snap on test light. Outstanding set and a super nice guy!
This guy is such a cold down to earth dude
Love the content brother! Hope this channel keeps going. Maybe we can get you traveling the whole country soon.
I hope so! I have so many people wanting me to come check out their setup. It would be sweet!
Seems like such an awesome dude, thanks for sharing your tool collection and some of your story.
I look forward to these videos every week. I have screen shots for tools i need.
I’m glad you enjoy them Tyler!
You do great interviews by letting them talk and explain. 👍👍 They are the experts of their boxes.
I try! Thanks for watching!
Seems like a hell of a guy to work with. Clean box, all tools are there nothing missing organized. Nice video
Feel the same way about my grandfathers stuff. I have a bunch of his sockets and all my ratchets are from him and probably from the 70s. All Mac or Snap On from when he was diesal mechanic for Penske.
Yeah that’s really cool to have.
kinda scrolled through the comments but any part number on the combined metric and standard sockeets? great video!
Wow that was impressive I can tell he was thinking about his father telling you about his tools I pause and think about my dad the same way when I pick up one of my dads tools that was left to me after he passed another great video thank you for your hard work I look forward to more great videos
Yeah it’s really a special thing to have tools that have been passed on to you. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I love the mix, old stuff passed down or bought from the beginning of his career, the new stuff from present day, the tool truck brands and the more economical stuff. Awesome video and collection!
Yeah lots of history in that box. Thanks for watching!
What a nice guy. Impressive and well maintained tool collection too. Thanks for sharing.
As far as Knipex, I have several of their locking pliers, and I honestly don't think they're any better than the cheap ones. The joints are stiff, the jaws have wiggle, and I sometimes get pinched releasing them. I use them for welding clamps now as I replaced them with Malco Eagle Grips, which are much better in every way. Sadly, they aren't made anymore.
Love the 84" length and only two banks. To me that drawer arrangement is far more useful than the standard triple bank deal. All those long drawers would be so useful.
Yeah it was super nice! And that bottom drawer was fantastic!
Very cool set ! I have several of the tools featured, in my box.
15:38 I love that discontinued orange handle torx driver set.
Great video and really clean set up. Solomon matched your excitement level for tools, you better step up your game😂 but seriously it always makes me happy to see the pride people take in their tool collection big or small.
Haha!! I love it!
That guy seems like he’s cool af
This guy seems super cool. Great setup. Also another great video. Thank you for continuing to put out bangers. 😂👍
Haha thanks ryan
What a great guy!
Keep the vids coming.
More on the way!
Mac used to do those metal socket buckets too! They still do for some of the usa made stuff, we got some older ones at the machine shop and always thought they were cool, they can hang off the side of the box too
Jesus 😅 what a collection!! Very tidy setup good stuff 👌
He could have the most impressive tool sets i have seen.
Keep em coming! Awesome video!
Here's an idea for a future video,a go-kart mechanic's toolbox toor! Especially if you can find one that does both rentals and racing karts,it would be pretty fun! Keep up the good work!
Good idea! I’ll add it to the list!
This was a fun tour, older Snap tools. The majority of my Snap On is from the 80s and 90s.
Its amazing how it works sometimes with generational careers. Great GD hand built and operated a grist mill and did wagon repair on the side, Granddad farmed and repaired everything on his own, dad was a mechanic and welder, I spent 45 years wrenching and my son works running dyno's and wrenching.
Fun tour.
Thanks for sharing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Nice set up. I've gotta get my box on here now that I'm hooked. Lol
Really awesome tour, can see the lineage in this one, Salomon seems like a great dude too. Keep up the good work man!
Very much enjoyed the video thumbs 👍
Some of the guys you showcase are cool. And some are more cool. This guy is way cool! I liked him. Thanks for sharing. He keeps such good care of his stuff I couldn’t believe how much was actually in the original boxes. Cheers buddy. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉
Haha I’m glad you enjoyed this one! Thanks for watching Sean!
Super nice setup.
What a cool dude and set up.
Thanks for another great video. Thanks for your time and effort.
Thank you for watching!!
Good content but the guy in this video, make the video! Great personality, authentic and has great stories.
We need more dealership boxes 👌🏻
Great vids! Keep going!
I’m trying! Thanks Daniel!
👍I agree…the socket trays were great
@Toolbox Tours
Thank you for another Great Video I Really enjoyed listening to the Generational stories of all the Tools. Maybe someday we'll see your Tool Collection 😊 Again thank you and Merry Christmas 🎅
Glad you enjoyed it!!
You are most welcome ☺️
This is by far one of my favorite tool box tours! Shame you didn’t stay for hours to cover all the tools he had. 😂
I know!!
A cool idea would be millwright box tour or farm mechanics.
3:59 I have the exact same lamp on my mobile workshop van , here in Europe it is sold under the Berner brand , It's an excellent product, it helps me a lot when I have to do night work on trucks and trailers.
The chief air hammer is the same as that Mac one
Seems like a really cool dude. Enjoyed the video. Keep up the good work
Thanks! More videos to come!
Nice work man! You always do a great job with every video. What really sets you apart is adding the part numbers to every tool. One suggestion is have you thought about touring guys construction rigs? I've seen videos of people outfitting their entire trailer in Milwaukee packouts. Doing construction tours might broaden your audience especially for next spring and summer. Just a thought.
Never thought about that! I'll have to try and get someone light that on the channel.
That was awesome
Super nice
Good show.
Thanks for watching Nelson!
I have some old butterfly impacts I used building gas turbines.
Great dude
i love my CRKT knife. different model but my edc for 3 years
2:12.. You can always get a good idea of what mechanics actually use when you watch videos like this. These kinds of crowfoot adapters. I see people have. But you never see them scratched up like they get good use. It's more or less a novelty tool..... Sort of a don't waste your money because you'll never use it tool...👍
6:42.. Gearless Spragg ratchet...still a useful tool...
10:47.. Metrinch (brand name) sockets... cool idea
Thanks for that brand name! I was scratching my head on that one.
@@ToolBoxTour I just saw them the other day.. that's the only reason I knew..👍
The truck in the thumb nail I believe is from the wm training center
Mac still sells their sockets in those metal carrying trays
Good to know!
Can we get more Garbage truck mechanic box tours plz?
I’ll try to find some!
16:03 Bless you
The Cornwell dealer in your local area must really push boxes.
No more than the other tool trucks 🤷♂️. We just have far more Cornwell dealers here than other parts of the country.
@@ToolBoxTour yessir the dealers like to use the boxes to 'mark their territory.'
who makes the both sockets? seems interesting
Any chance of a Harley motorcycle techtoolbox tour???
I’m on the look out!
Forklifts it’s where’s at, any trade that you can’t just RUclips yourself out of, that takes real knowledge not just bolt on new stuff, that’s $$$
Hey bro,and the tool cart part of the video??😂
They easily could have made up their own videos. They were STACKED.
💯💯💯💯💯
i just started off in this trade any tips..?
Budget yourself and don’t get in debt buying tools. You have a lifetime to fill up a toolbox. I got cheap sockets and wrenches because I know they’re going to get cut up and welded. The sizes I use the most for the equipment I’m working on I bought individually from a tool truck. Clean and oil your tools and toolbox every week. If you don’t like something then change it. Every shop is different so don’t give up this career. It’s better to specialize early on and get away from what everyone else is doing. Never ever work hard and always wear protective gear, because you will be left with health problems, and the shop will find another guy in a week.
Save as much money as possible to invest for your own business and for retirement, don't take on any unnecessary debt. Learn the business side of things and start your own business- no one will pay you your worth except yourself.
@@markm0000never work hard? Lol
@@JOPPMAN8000 if you’re tearing up your hands and shoulders, down on concrete, cuts, bruises, burns, skin stains, bad eyes, hearing loss, etc. you’re doing it wrong. Don’t be a parts monkey mechanic, learn what you’re doing and buy good tools to become a certified technician. This career is exactly what you make it out to be.
Don’t go buying a brand new box or cart. Go to hf and get a cart and stuff the shit out of it with good brands before you upgrade. By good brands I don’t mean snap on. I mean like sunex tekton Capri gearwrench all kinds of good brands out there
170 pound person bouncing on thar breaker bar will snap the drive insert.
Should sign your wife up on $50 a week payments for a torch.
yo I love you lets hang out. I can fix trash trucks too. And anything.
Great video. That guy is cool as hell.
I think so too! Thanks for watching!
I also fix garbage trucks. Week two 😂 just switched from driver
Good luck!
