boil with rage... I'm really confused because watching some of xiang liu and xiao yao's clip...I see xiao yao hint of liking xiang liu but then this clip is also a hint that she likes tushan jing. I really don't understand who xiao yao's gonna end up with.

However, after many occasions that Xiao Yao hinting to Xiang Liu to just leave Da Huang and roam the world around the world, Xiang Liu couldn’t because he has that oath up his throat. He cannot and will not abandon the remaining Chenrong army. How he wished he can, but he will not overthrow his loyalty towards Hong Jiang. That’s why Xiao Yao chose Jing, because he is willing to leave everything behind, just like how Xiao Yao wishes. They all love Xiao Yao. But in order for two people to actually spend the rest of their lives together, they need Love and of course be on the same page.

She has an attachment to him, akin to that of kindred spirits, but she never allowed herself to fall in love with XL because she does not want anyone who may abandon her (like her entire childhood has been). In many ways, XL is a fatal attraction - not only to her life but to her emotional and physiological wellbeing. If she were to fall in love with XL and then he abandons her for his loyalty - she will probably lose the last hope she has in true love. Jing is the only one of the three who can help heal some of her childhood traumas to believe in true love and give her the free life she desires to cure illness all over Dahuang.

From my perspective she never loved XL, she did, however, viewed him as someone who could potentially share her long immortal life with - but only if he would let his loyalty go. IMO, she never allowed her heart to love him. If she hadn't met Jing, yes, then I would say even against her best intentions, she could fall in love with XL even if he was against her brother - like her mother fell in love with her father against her mother's best intentions. But because XY met Jing first, because she suspected her mother's love for an enemy, and because of her own suffering and abandonment issues, her heart is not big enough to trust XL and hold him along with Jing. XY is not greedy in love, she can't love multiple people at the same time with the same fervor. She likes FFB aka XL because he was someone who she could see herself with in a long immortal life. In truth, it's easy why XY would fall in love with Jing, because he helped to heal some of her distrust in love and relationships, and she is willing to learn how to open her heart and allow herself to love - for him. Don't be fooled by Yang Zi and TJC's onscreen chemistry - which I am captivated as well since it's so intense. However, XY is only completely heartbroken and in despair when she and Jing broke up. There are differing levels of sadness, and lost of interest in life/despair, IMO, is the ultimate expression of sadness - which is what XY expressed for Jing. She can live after XL dies, but she doesn't want to live after Jing dies. That's the difference.
I don't think Xiao Yao is talking about Tushan jing when at 5:03 she says, "I have lost the person I like". Its like when she is speaking out loud, she is going through self reflection that is not necessarily about the person present in the room or one incident. At about :50, before she runs into jing, she asks herself if she can kill him. There are no tears or sorrow in this thought. Even when she found out Tushan jing had fathered a child she was able to compose herself. When she was told Fang Feng Bei died, she fell apart. In an earlier scene she told Xiang Liu/Fang Feng Bei that she couldn't marry a man with a family, meaning Tushan jing or an enemy of her brother, meaning Fang Feng Bei. It always seemed like the one she wanted was Fang Feng Bei but denied herself because of the war between her brother/family and Fang Feng Bei/army. In one scene, she even asked her grandfather if she could be with Xiang Liu. AND Jing had said he wanted to marry her. Xiang Liu/Fang Feng Bei didn't ever tell her he wanted to marry her. Fang Feng Bei did suggest they run off and travel together which isn't the same thing but obviously she had considered marrying him. At the time of Fang Feng Bei's suggestion she told him yes but he would have to give up his current life, meaning his army. Xiao Yao wants stability so she is willing to settle for Tushan jing. Xiao Yao has two unjustifiable reasons for choosing him over Xiang Liu. The first is Tushan Jing tells her he loves her. Secondly, he presents himself as being more stable. Xiang Liu is actually more loving and capable of more stability. Who wrote this plot????????????????? The love and ability to remain stable are obvious without words.
Also, who besides Xiang Liu, did Xiao Yao ever make such an elborate, expensive, labor intensive gift for???????????????? And why did she wait for him on the beach in a red dress?
I will not watch this season if they are ending together what about snake demon .snake demon is perfect for her . Please don't break our snake demon heart 😢😢😢😢😢
