I didn’t realize how much I appreciate Audino and the Mega until I got older. People only hate it because other Pokemon didn’t get the Mega, which is unfair and a dumb reason to not like something. We should be looking at what we have rather than what we don’t have. I love the nurse/doctor design elements w/ the feelers at the ears, the coat-like patterns on both forms, and the generally pleasing color schemes. It’s a pretty cute rabbit doctor, and if they had to give a Mega to only one Unovan Pokémon, at least it’s a very recognizable one to those who played the Gen 5 games. Hopefully Z-A gives us more Unovan Megas

Let's see, most of the megas are the favorites of most people since they're moderately strong to begin with, a few that definitely deserved the megas such as Mawile, Sableye, Audino, and Absol (though that last one's BST distribution was mid). A decent amount of LEGENDARIES got them too. Out of all of them the ones that should get megas are pokemon that needs a strength boost, hell a proper cross gen evolution would be more preferable to megas considering it's not a gimmick. Once Legends Z-A comes and goes, it's back to the lower tiers with those weak pokemon that have yet deserved the attention. I don't even like megas cause of their pokedex entries, most of them are about pain and that is just a guilt trip for me. I'll probably try a no megas run for my first playthrough just to prove myself that I don't need them.

I think Natural Cure would be perfect on Mega Audino. You could use the Regenerator in the base form and guarantee momemtum, like Slowbro and his Mega, and switch to Mega in case of receiving Toxic/Thunder Wave or to Setup.
or like with mega kangaskhan give it an ability that raises its defense or special defense depending on the move that it gets hit with (that would make hella OP lmao)
It was made in Gen IX, they'd have given it an ability that increased the relevant defence stat when you're hit and also healed you by 8th every turn that you're statused, but don't worry, it clears the status at the end of every turn (but before the orbs kick in) so it's not busted.

They could’ve absolutely given Mega Audino an actual viable ability like Serene Grace or whatever rather than Healer and it still wouldn’t be OP, even keeping regenerator would be viable, something that’s not trash or doubles exclusive. Then you have Mega Rayquaza which speaks for itself. Balance was not the incentive, they just gave Audino the short end of the stick for no reason.
Audino is the perfect example of a Pokémon that abseloutly, 100%, deserved it. I just wish it would turn it into a killer instead of "just" a wish support with an ability useless in singles.

Mega Scolipede with a far longer body and much worse posture. Mega stoutland with enough fur to fill a swimming pool and a majestic beard.
This just should of been her evolution. It would of garnered more respect from the fan base. Probably be a Meta pick because of its stats and move Pool. She can pivot in to check many Pokemon from 6-9 and run many different roles. Especially with each new gimmick.

I used Audino lead in doubles with Shedinja lead in order to use skill swap and then I would bring in Balloon Eelektross and give him Wonder Guard. Guaranteed win after that unless opponent has mold breaker, turboblaze is teravolt.
Audino decided to mega evolve after watching you (regretfully) slaughter its kin. Now you can still do that but they'll heal afterwards thanks to Healer. Poor Naturia eating a pita. (If you get it)
A good support mega. I am hopefully megas stay. It would be perfw t end game content. Even if megas aren't the focus on ore two new addtions would be nuce end game content to find.

Give Regenerator and Knock Off to this mega and it gets 100% better. An unique ability that doubles or give 1,5 to the def and sp.def would be insane too. This mega is mid, but I really like it. Is cute and shiny.

Well considering it's the easiest exp in B/W to farm, it deserved to be more than just that.
whats crazy is that it actually isnt an upgrade in all respects. Yes most situations you'd want to mega, but losing regenerator is a drawback
